Did you know?
The lost and found basket
is located on the shelf above the coat rack in the
hallway that leads to the main washrooms. Several
articles have been accumulating in there. Please
remember to check it if you are missing something.
A man’s ring was found after mass a few weeks
ago, it remains in the office unclaimed. Does it
belong to you? If so, please contact the office to
identify it.

25th Sunday in Ordinary Time
25e dimanche du temps ordinaire

25th Sunday in Ordinary
Time:
True wisdom comes
from God. Although most of us
can point to a person in our lives
whom we consider wise, we are
using a human standard to measure
wisdom. True wisdom, however,
comes from God and enables us to
live as intended by our Creator.
Jesus teaches us to seek a childlike
faith so that we are able to readily accept the truth, which
sets us free.

Another season of Why Catholic is upon us. Season 3
begins the week of October 18th for 6 weeks with the
topic of ‘Believe’. What will this wonderful topic bring?
We will explore what we profess when we pray the Apostles
Creed at mass, what the early Disciples and the Disciples of
our own time believe and how our faith has been
transformed. It will inspire us to truly be disciples of Jesus
Christ. Sign-up Sunday is September 26th & 27th. Don’t
miss this amazing opportunity for faith and fellowship.
Development & Peace Training Workshop
Dear friends, the CCODP will soon launch its 2015 Fall
Education Campaign entitled, “Create a Climate of
Change.”
Training will be provided to parish D&P
representations at St. Mary Parish Hall, Maidstone,
September 26th from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Please register to
attend as lunch is provided. Information on the campaign is
available at http://www.devp.org/en/education/fall2015.
Please take time to learn more about the important issue of
climate change and its impact on all peoples of the world but
especially on those most in need. I encourage D&P parish
representatives and any interested parishioners to participate
in this training opportunity.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Most Rev. Ronald Fabbro, CSB
