Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration Weekend
The Battle of Plattsburgh, also known as the Battle of Lake Champlain, ended the
final invasion of the northern states during the War of 1812. Join us as we celebrate
the Bicentennial of General Alexander Macomb’s and Master Commandant Thomas MacDonough’s defeat of the British army on September 11, 1814. The commemoration weekend runs from September 10-13 with tours, concerts, reenactments, fireworks, entertainment, parades and much more for the whole family to
