TIGNISH SHORE - OFFICIAL SUB-COMMITTEE TO BE FORMED
With our first Fishermen’s Haven Park celebration behind us, we are now ready to form an official SubCommittee, under the Tignish Shore Community Improvement Committee, to organize an annual event in the
Park and to come up with new ideas on how to generate income for the upkeep of the Park. Our first meeting
will be on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30p.m. at the Community Centre. We need your support in order
to keep our park alive! You do not need to be a resident to be on this Committee and this will not be a huge
commitement, especially if we have a good number of members. After this initial meeting, we will probably
not have to meet again until the new year. If you are unable to make the meeting, but you are interested in
sitting on the Committee, please call Lise at 882-3699.
Volunteer Appreciation Social Evening: To show our appreciation, the Tignish Shore C.I.C. is hosting a
social evening for all volunteers who took part in the July 26th Fishermen’s Haven Park Celebration. It will take
place on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:00p.m. at the Tignish Shore Community Centre. If you know
someone who volunteered that day, be sure to mention this event to them. We do not want to miss anyone!
