SPRINGTIME CRAFT: Artist Lynn Gaudet will be at the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest on
Wednesday, April 21st to help us paint a beautiful wood craft for springtime. The evening will begin
at 6:30 p.m. and will cost $10.00 per person. Please telephone 882-0475 to register for this fun

PRIESTS APPRECIATION DAY
Our priests are Jesus’ representative on earth. They are called upon in many ways to assist us with our
spiritual and everyday needs. They are our friends and mentors. They listen and share, giving us counsel and
acting as mediators and teachers. Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed June 19, 2009 - June 19, 2010 the Year
of the Priest. In thanksgiving for our priests, our Zone will be sponsoring an Open House on Sunday, April
18, 2010 at Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Alberton from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please come join us for a meet
& greet, presentations, entertainment and refreshments. Let us show our appreciation to our beloved prients.

ST. FELIX GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
The 2010 Golfing Season has now arrived and we welcome you all again this season! We will tentatively open

Ella Hutt is an Island-raised photographer with a passion for her art. She is offering a series of free workshops on
photography for beginners at libraries throughout West Prince. Come and discover: how to select a digital camera, how
to use a digital camera, how to save and transfer photos and videos to computer, how to use the camera for different
events.

L’exposition très intéressante Les Acadiens et le sport: d’hier à aujourd’hui continue en montre au Musée acadien de l’Îledu-Prince-Édouard, à Miscouche, jusqu’au dimanche 18 avril. L’exposition comprend de nombreuses photos et artefacts
ayant trait aux équipes sportives et aux athlètes légendaires acadiens de l’Île, d’autrefois et d’aujourd’hui. Les heures
d’ouverture sont du lundi au vendredi, de 9h30 à 17h00, et les dimanches, de 13h00 à 16h00 (excepté fermé le dimanche
de Pâques). L’entrée est gratuite (excepté pour les groupes); les dons sont appréciés. Information: 432-2880.

The very interesting exhibition Acadians and Sports: Then and Now continues on display at the Acadian Museum of Prince
Edward Island, in Miscouche, until Sunday, April 18th. The exhibition features many photos and aritifacts related to Island
Acadian sport legends and team from years ago to today. Visiting hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and
Sundays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (except closed on Easter Sunday). Admission is free (except for groups); donations are

PROGRAMME NATIONAL DE CERTIFICATION DES ENTRAÎNEURS THÉORIE PARTIE A
Le Comité régional des Jeux de l’Acadie offre un cours de formation les 7 et 8 mai 2010 au Centre Belle-Alliance à
Summerside. Toutes les personnes intéressées à devenir entraîneurs pour les Jeux de l’Acadie ou autres compétitions
sportives peuvent s’inscrire pour ce cours. Le programme national de certification des entraîneurs est un programme qui
vise à aider les entraîneurs à mieux connaître leurs responsabilitiés et à assumer un plus grand respect de la pratique du
sport. Le cours sera donné en français par Ghislain Bernard. Pour plus d’information ou pour vous inscrire communique

Le Comité régional des Jeux de l’Acadie de l’Î.-P.-É. lance l’invitation aux Acadiennes, Acadiens et

Thank you to everyone for supporting our team this past hockey season. We are Provincial Champs again! We
represented our Community and Province very well in the Maritime-North Championship Hockey Tournament in
Fredericton, N.B. this past weekend. Your support with travel expenses in purchasing raffle tickets was much appreciated.

There will be a Bake Sale all day on Friday, April 23rd at the Tignish Co-op Link with lots of homemade baked
goods. All proceeds will go to the Westisle Relay for Life which will be held on June 25th, 2010.
