BRUNCH: The next Brunch at the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest is scheduled for Sunday, April 25th from
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults, $8 for students and $2 for preschoolers. See you there!
SPRINGTIME CRAFT: Artist Lynn Gaudet will be at the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest on Tuesday, April
13th to help us paint a beautiful wood craft for springtime. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will cost

PRIESTS APPRECIATION DAY
Our priests are Jesus’ representative on earth. They are called upon in many ways to assist us with our
spiritual and everyday needs. They are our friends and mentors. They listen and share, giving us counsel and
acting as mediators and teachers. Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed June 19, 2009 - June 19, 2010 the Year
of the Priest. In thanksgiving for our priests, our Zone will be sponsoring an Open House on Sunday, April
18, 2010 at Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Alberton from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please come join us for a meet
& greet, presentations, entertainment and refreshments. Let us show our appreciation to our beloved prients.

The Annual Meeting for the Tignish Minor Hockey Association will be held on Sunday, April 11th at 6:30 p.m.
at the Credit Union Arena. Please note that there are two (2) board positions opening.
ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, April 11th beginning
at 12:00 noon. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, dessert and tea/coffee. Cost: adults $8.00
and children $4.00. Proceeds go to the up-keep of the Hall.

The Council’s Regular Monthly Meeting will be held on Monday, April 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Boardroom of
the Municipal Building. Residents and Business Owners are welcome to attend, to voice their concerns or

St. Felixd C.W.L. Montlhly Meeting will be held on Monday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Felix Community

Ella Hutt is an Island-raised photographer with a passion for her art. She is offering a series of free workshops
on photography for beginners at libraries throughout West Prince. Come and discover: how to select a digital
camera, how to use a digital camera, how to save and transfer photos and videos to computer, how to use the
camera for different events.

The very interesting exhibition Acadians and Sports: Then and Now continues on display at the Acadian Museum of Prince
Edward Island, in Miscouche, until Sunday, April 18th. The exhibition features many photos and aritifacts related to Island
Acadian sport legends and team from years ago to today. Visiting hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and
Sundays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (except closed on Easter Sunday). Admission is free (except for groups); donations are

L’exposition très intéressante Les Acadiens et le sport: d’hier à aujourd’hui continue en montre au Musée acadien de l’Îledu-Prince-Édouard, à Miscouche, jusqu’au dimanche 18 avril. L’exposition comprend de nombreuses photos et artefacts
ayant trait aux équipes sportives et aux athlètes légendaires acadiens de l’Île, d’autrefois et d’aujourd’hui. Les heures
d’ouverture sont du lundi au vendredi, de 9h30 à 17h00, et les dimanches, de 13h00 à 16h00 (excepté fermé le dimanche
de Pâques). L’entrée est gratuite (excepté pour les groupes); les dons sont appréciés. Information: 432-2880.

Basement hours are from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
There will be a PAP Clinic on Wednesday, May 19th at the Tignish Health Centre sponsored by the
Cornwall PAP Clinic. To book an appointment, please call 1-866-818-7277 (toll free).
There will also be a Bra Fitting Clinic to be held on Monday, April 26th at the Tignish Health Centre
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No appointment needed.

There will be a Benefit Night in aid of Brian and Tracy Perry on Sunday, April 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the Tignish
Legion. The funds raised will help defer the funeral costs for their late son, Jordan Perry. Come and show
your support!
BENEFIT & AUCTION NIGHT
Benefit & Auction Night in aid of Joel Gaudet “Puff” (son of Barry & Kelly Gaudet) and Jill Hardy, who recently
lost their home and all their belongings in a house fire. Joel & Jill had an apartment above Jill’s parents’
residence and on April 2nd, the fire left the family of 6 with nothing but the clothes they were wearing when they
escaped the fire. The Benefit will be held on Friday, April 16th at 7:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall
in Palmer Road. Anyone who would like to donate something for the Auction or help out in any way can
