COLD PLATE DINNER - CREDIT UNION ARENA
Arena volunteers are planning a cold plate dinner for Friday, January 27th. Any individuals or
businesses interested in a turkey and ham cold plate with dessert, for pickup or delivery, can phone
Barb Shea Gaudet at 882-3893, Mandy Gaudet at 882-2379, or the Arena at 882-3415. Meals will be
prepared at the Tignish Parish Center and can be delivered from North Cape to Coleman. Deadline
for ordering is Monday, January 23rd. Price is $10 each.
WEDDING SHOW - PALMER ROAD COMMUNITY CENTER
Attention brides to be! Join us for our wedding show on Friday, January 27th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m., and Saturday, January 28th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Palmer Road Community
Center is beautifully decorated, clean, has a sound system, stage, and bar services. We offer catering

The "Club Competition" is being held on Sunday January 29th at 1:45 p.m. All skaters will be

OPEN HOUSE AND REGISTRATION EVENING
The Employment Resource Centres & Holland College are hosting a registration evening on
Monday, January 30th at 7:00 p.m. at the new West Prince Campus, in Alberton. Storm date is
January 31st. Anyone wanting to apply for fall 2012 programs the $40 registration fee will be waived

TIGNISH HEALTH CENTRE

The Conseil Rév. S.-É.-Perrey inc. will be celebrating “La Fête de la Chandeleur” by offering a
pancake and sausage breakfast at the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest, between the hours of 8:30
a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2nd. Storm date will be February 3rd. The price is $2
per person plus a non-perishable food item, which we will donate to the West Prince Caring Cupboard.

The SSTA in collaboration with the Fédération des aînés et santé en français Î.-P.-É are looking for
people who would like to take part in the project “les porte-bonheurs”, a personalized accompanying
service. We are looking for volunteers to offer quality time with a person who lives alone and also
looking for people who live alone who would like to spend a few hours a week with someone. For

DINNER THEATRE
The Miminegash Firemenettes will be holding a dinner theatre entitled “Spring Tonic”, directed by
Eileen Pendergast, at the Palmer Road Community Center on Friday, March 2nd and Saturday,
March 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. Storm date will be March 9th and 10th. The cost is $20. Tickets will be going
on sale soon. More information available in the coming weeks.
CREDIT UNION ARENA AND HEMPHILL GM - PARTNERSHIP
Hemphill GM in Summerside is extending its partnership to provide a $100 donation to the Arena for
each new or used vehicle, purchased or leased by customers from the Arena's service area until
March 31, 2012. If interested, pick up a coupon from the Arena or at various businesses in Tignish, St.
Louis, and Miminegash before you visit Hemphill GM.
