ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, March 4th,
beginning at 12:00 p.m. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, tea, coffee, and
dessert. Cost: Adults $10 and children $5. Proceeds will go towards the up-keep of the Hall.

MISS K'S KREATIONS PRESENTS THE 4TH ANNUAL WEDDING SHOWCASE
Do not miss this year’s wedding showcase featuring the hottest trends in decor for this coming
season on Sunday March 4th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Tignish Parish Center.
Participating vendors are M.J's Bakery, Love of Life Photography, Gold Canyon, Classy Cuts,
O'Leary Village Florist Home Decor & More, Atlantic Integrated Systems, and Caseley's Tent &
Party Rentals. Free admission! Tickets will be on sale for the gift basket in aid of the "Bring
Bobbi-Jo Home Fund" and drawn at the end of the night.
EILEEN PENDERGAST PRODUCTION
The Miminegash Firemenettes presents the dinner theatre “Spring Tonic”, by Eileen Pendergast,
at the Palmer Road Community Center on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th, at 7:00
p.m. Dinner will consist of chiard, chicken fricot, biscuit, tea, and coffee. Tickets are $20 in
advance and can be obtained at F.J. Shea & Sons or from any of the Firemettes. All proceeds will
go towards the Miminegash Fire Department Equipment fund. Thank you for your support!
ST. LOUIS T.O.P.S.
St. Louis T.O.P.S. meets every Monday at the St. Louis Community Hall. Weigh-in is from 6:00
to 6:30 p.m. and our meeting is from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. We like to see old members returning
and new members are always welcome!

Le Comité régional des Jeux de l’Acadie de l’Î.-P.-É., FÂOÎPÉ, le Conseil scolaire-communautaire
Évangéline, Jeunesse Acadienne et le Club 4-H Évangéline se regroupent pour inviter toutes les
personnes de 9 ans et plus à participer à une journée remplie d’activités qui aura lieu le samedi
10 mars à l’École Évangéline de 9h30 à 15h00. Un dîner à la dinde sera servi pour un coût de

ATV FUN RUN
The Miminegash Fire Department will be holding an ATV Fun Run on Saturday, March 10th.
Registration will be between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the Miminegash Fire Hall.
Registration cost is $10 and $5 a passenger with the option of purchasing a hot meal ticket for $5.
Come out to test drive new 2012 ATVs. Lots of great prizes to be won! All proceeds will go
towards the Miminegash Fire Department Equipment fund.
ACTIVE START PROGRAM
The Western Region Sport and Recreation Council is offering an Active Start Program that will
encourage children ages 3 to 6 to enjoy physical activity, learn to move efficiently, and improve
coordination and balance. The program will be offered at Hernewood Junior High School at
9:30 a.m. and ME Callaghan Junior High School at 11:00 a.m. each Saturday for 10 weeks

TIGNISH TOPS RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER
There will be a booklet bingo on Sunday, March 11th, at 3:00 p.m., at the Tignish Legion.
Admission is $10. Lots of great prizes. Come and support a worthy cause!
DISNEY PIXAR FILMS ON ICE
The Tignish Figure Skating Club will be presenting "Disney Pixar Films on Ice" on Sunday, March
11th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission: $4.00 adults; $2.00 students; free preschoolers.
Come out and see our skaters perform at their last ice show for this season!
BENEFIT
There will be a benefit for Rita Perry on Sunday, March 11th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the
Tignish Legion to help with medical expenses and renovations needed to her home to make it
wheel chair accessible. There will be local entertainment, an auction, and 50/50. Please come
out and show your support!
SKINNER’S POND PORT AUTHORITY ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting of the Skinner’s Pond Port Authority will be held on Monday, March 12th at
the Tignish Dalton Centre at 1:00 p.m. All members are urged to attend.

The community of Tignish Shore will be holding their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 13th at
7:00 p.m. at the Tignish Shore Community Centre.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a corn beef and cabbage supper on Saturday, March 17th at the
Tignish Legion from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the bar. There will be trivia
from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and entertainment by 45 Knots in the Pub at 9:00 p.m.
