hired by the New York police force to clean up the city of its hardened criminals. Alot of suspense!
In search of a true hero for all of us! Admission: seniors $6; adults $8; students (13-17) $5; and
children $3. There will be a 50/50 draw. The doors open at 6:15 p.m.

The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, November
7th beginning at 12:00 noon. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, dessert and
tea/coffee. Cost: adults $8.00 and children $4.00. Proceeds go to the up-keep of the Hall.

The Golden Slipper Friends Of The Tignish Seniors Home will be meeting at the Home on

Dr. Sethi will be away from his office from Wednesday, November 24th until Wednesday,
December 15th inclusive. Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, December 16th.

Anyone interested in ordering a copy of the DVD “A Wartime Christmas, Down at the Shore”,

Down at the Shore, when our beloved Ernest went off to war.

Take Off Pounds Sensibly is a non-profit organization to help you lose weight. Whether you have
10lbs or 100lbs to lose, come learn how to lose weight sensibly and have fun doing it! We meet
every Tuesday, with weigh-in from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. and meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Tignish
Medical Center. Enter through the back entrance. Cost is $30.00 per year to join and $2.00
weekly.
AVON BINGO
There will be an Avon Christmas Bingo at the Tignish Fire Hall on Sunday, November 14th at
7:00 p.m. Prizes valued at $20.00 and over. Admission is $10.00. Please bring your own bingo
chips.
BENEFIT NIGHT FOR SEYMOUR DESROCHES
Sunday, November 7th at 8:00 p.m. at the Tignish Legion. Entertainment, auction, 50/50, etc.
Proceeds will help Seymour, who was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer, with travel and medical
expenses, as well as renovation expenses for wheelchair accessibility to his home. Anyone
wishing to donate items to the auction can bring them to the Legion that night or call 882-3699 to
arrange for drop-off. Please join us for a fun night and to help our a good cause. Thank you in
advance for your wonderful support!
