At Westile Composite High School (Elmsdale) on Tuesday, November 16th at 7:00 p.m. Continuation
of the play PLACIDE, THE MYSTERIOUS MAN, the Acadian detective who was hired by the New
York police force to clean up the city of its hardened criminals. Alot of suspense! In search of a true
hero for all of us! Admission: seniors $6; adults $8; students (13-17) $5; and children $3. There will
be a 50/50 draw. The doors open at 6:15 p.m.

We may lose a valuable program due to the lack of interest! We are looking for volunteers to be part
of the Board and to assist in establishing our courses. If we do not have any volunteers, there will not

Halloween curfew for the Community of Tignish will be 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31st.

CURLING CLUB
The Curling Club in Alberton will have two weeks of free curling beginning on Monday, November
1st and continuing on November 8th. Come and try it... if you are new at it, or come back to curling
if you have been away for awhile. Stick Curling is making it possible to curl way up into the 90's. It
is a great way to help get through the winter!

ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, November 7th
beginning at 12:00 noon. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, dessert and tea/coffee.
Cost: adults $8.00 and children $4.00. Proceeds go to the up-keep of the Hall.

Proceeds will help Seymour, who was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer, with travel and medical
expenses, as well as renovation expenses for wheelchair accessibility to his home. Anyone wishing
to donate items to the auction can bring them to the Legion that night or call 882-3699 to arrange for
drop-off. Please join us for a fun night and to help our a good cause. Thank you in advance for your
