BRUNCH A buffet brunch will be offered on Sunday, November 30th at le Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest in DeBlois, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the very reasonable price of $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for students and pre-schoolers free. On the menu you will find a variety of delicious food. Please note that only the first 200 people will be served. This brunch is organized by le Conseil Rév. S.-É.-Perrey inc. Info., call 882-0475. ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, December 7th beginning at 12:00 noon. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, dessert and tea/coffee. Cost: Adults $8.00 and children $4.00. Proceeds for up-keep of the Hall. TIGNISH CHRISTMAS PARADE OF LIGHTS Our Annual Christmas Parade Of Lights is scheduled for Sunday, December 7th at 5:00 p.m. While considerable work has gone into recruiting floats this year, the amount of floats currently registered would not warrant having the parade. There is still time to turn this around and have our best parade ever. We are urging all businesses, organizations, clubs, teams, etc., to get together and enter a float. TIGNISH CHILDREN’S WISH CHRISTMAS CAKE SALE Would you like to take a break from baking your Christmas cakes this year and buy them instead? Come out to the Tignish Co-op Link on Monday, December 8th between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Lots of homemade cakes to choose from... light or dark fruitcake, gumdrop cake, coffee cake, etc. All proceeds from this sale will go to the Tignish Children’s Wish. TIGNISH WATERSHED MANAGEMENT GROUP SEEKS COMMUNITY INPUT The Tignish Watershed Management Group has returned to work at the Annex Office of the Tignish Liquor Store. We completed several projects this summer which included a digger log and retaining wall on the Harper Road brook along with enhancement and assessments of several other brooks in this area. We are currently working on a Beaver Management Plan along with a draft Watershed Management Plan. We welcome any input from the Communities in our management area (Kildare west to Norway) with comments or concerns regarding the brooks and surrounding watersheds.
