This gorgeous luxury villa is situated high up on a hillside
overlooking the sea, surrounded by an abundance of tropical
plants reminding of the refinement of the West Indies' colonial
past. Entering the property, guests are met by the massive, lush
lawn and landscaped gardens flanking it. The layout of its
terraces and rooms, joined with the clever landscaping of the
property's natural spaces, makes this ultra-spacious villa
perfect for couples vacationing together. Gustavia is less than
five minutes away but Lurin is the ideal location for those who
like privacy. The untouched beaches of Saline and Gouverneur
are also a short drive from the villa.
This sea-view private rental villa combines old-fashioned decor and architecture with
21st century improvements. The living area and dining areas are centrally positioned
on the ground floor, and offer a combination of traditional elegance, such as beamed
ceilings, gleaming wooden flooring and contemporary touches, such as a comfy and
stylish Christian Liaigre sofa. Adjacent is the large, airy and fully equipped kitchen.
There is a pool table in the living area.
The master bedroom suite occupies the second story of the main house in true
colonial style, creating a balance between privacy and accessibility. The other four
bedrooms are in three independent bungalows that open onto the garden and lawn.
The bedrooms are furnished with old-fashioned writings desks, mahogany four-poster
beds and ornate Caribbean touches like wood-louvered doors and windows. Each
bedroom has a private en suite bathroom and access to the terrace overlooking the
ocean and beautiful gardens. The studio on a lower level is a small and private
apartment.

The extensive gardens comprise of fruit trees, royal palms, flowering plants and
orchids and multi-coloured bougainvillea competes for attention with the vivid red of a
colourful tree. Designer garden chairs invite you to sit down and enjoy life in the slow
lane. The garden enhances the property's sense of privacy and tranquillity. On the
other side of the gardens from the main house, guests will find a second terrace for
sun bathing, swimming in the invigorating water of the pool, or enjoying the shade of
the gazebo. A barbecue, refrigerator and ice machine make the gazebo perfect for any
celebration.
All bookings that include Christmas Day or New Year's Day will be charged at the
Holiday Rate for a minimum of 7 to 14 days, depending on the villa selected.
