POSTING AFFICHAGE TO All personnel FROM Human Resources Service SUBJECT Position to be filled – Champlain Regional College (St. Lambert Campus) POSITION Champlain Regional College is seeking the services of an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AGENT, CLASS I, to work on a temporary full-time basis in Continuing Education at Champlain Regional College (St. Lambert Campus). This is a specific project, with the possibility of renewal. FUNCTIONS Reporting to the Manager of Continuing Education, the incumbent will perform a variety of administrative, customer service and accounting duties within Continuing Education, primarily related to a special project for CERAC (Centres d’expertise de reconnaissance des acquis et des competences). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide information and respond to requests from those seeking services from CERAC. 2. Provide administrative and clerical support for various CERAC projects, services and campaigns. 3. Maintain a tally of designated CERAC expenses. 4. Ensure the maintenance of records, as well as prepare and send reports to the appropriate parties. 5. Oversee the preparation of all necessary documentation and logistics for various receptions. 6. Collect data and prepare tabulation of survey information. 7. Assist with the updating of the RAC website, specifically with respect to CERAC. WORKING SCHEDULE Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DURATION OF CONTRACT At the latest, until December 20, 2014, with the possibility of renewal. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Must possess a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) with appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma (DES) or have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority. Experience Must have at least one (1) year of pertinent experience. Competencies Must be able to communicate proficiently in English and in French, orally and written. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. The candidates may be required to submit to English and French language tests as well as Word and Excel tests. Fournir un soutien administratif et clérical pour les divers projets, services et campagnes CERAC. 3. Tenir un décompte de dépenses désignées pour CERAC. 4. S’assurer de la maintenance des dossiers, de la préparation et de l’envoi des rapports aux personnes concernées. 5. Surveiller la préparation de la documentation et des logistiques pour diverses réceptions. 6. Recueillir et effectuer la tabulation des données de sondage. 7. Contribuer à la mise-à-jour du site web RAC, en particulier en ce qui concerne CERAC. HORAIRE Lundi au vendredi de 8h30 à 16h30. DURÉE DU CONTRAT Au plus tard, jusqu’au 20 décembre 2014, avec possibilité de renouvellement. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES Scolarité Détenir un diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) avec option appropriée ou un diplôme d’études secondaires (DES) ou un diplôme ou une attestation d'études dont l'équivalence est reconnue par l'autorité compétente. Expérience Avoir une (1) année d’expérience pertinente. Compétences Aptitude à communiquer adéquatement en anglais et en français, à l’oral et à l’écrit. Être compétent(e) avec les logiciels Microsoft Word et Excel. Les candidat(e)s peuvent être appelé(e)s à passer des tests linguistiques en anglais et en français ainsi que des tests de connaissances informatiques (Word et Excel).
