The Oath of Office Meeting for the Council of
the Village of Rexton was held in the Council
Chambers.
La réunion du Serment d’entrée en fonction
du conseil du Village de Rexton a été tenue à

PRESENT: The Mayor Elect, Randy Warman;
Councillors Elect William Flanagan, David
Little, Penny Robichaud and Elaine Warren;
Office Manager, Dianne Robertson;
Administrative Assistant, Nathalie Elward and
General Manager, Ashley Jones.

CALL TO ORDER: The Outgoing Mayor, David
L. Hanson called the meeting to order at 7:00
p.m.

OATH OF OFFICE
SERMENT D’ENTRÉE EN FONCTION
Under the power and authority of the Clerk of
the Village of Rexton, by section 33 of the
Municipalities Act, the Clerk administered the
oaths of office for Mayor Elect Randy Warman
and Councillors Elect David Little, Elaine
Warren, Penny Robichaud and William
Flanagan.
En vertu du pouvoir et l’autorité de la
secrétaire du Village de Rexton, par l’article 33
de la Loi sur les municipalités, la secrétaire a
fait prêter les serments d’entrée en fonction

Mr. Hanson welcomed Mayor Randy Warman
to chair the meeting.

This form was distributed to each of the
members to disclose any conflict of interests
with respect to any matter in which the
council is concerned.

relativement à toute affaire touchant le

APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY MAYOR:
It was moved by Elaine Warren and seconded
by Penny Robichaud that William Flanagan be
appointed as Deputy Mayor for the Village of
Rexton. Motion carried.
NOMINATION DU MAIRE SUPPLÉANT:
Elaine Warren propose, et Penny Robichaud
appuie, que William Flanagan soit nommé en
tant que le maire suppléant pour le Village de
Rexton. Proposition adoptée.
SIGNING OFFICERS:
It was moved by Elaine Warren and seconded
by David Little that Mayor Randy Warman,
Deputy Mayor William Flanagan, General
Manager/Clerk/Treasurer Ashley Jones and
Office Manager Dianne Robertson be
appointed financial signing officers for the
Village of Rexton and that any combination of
two of the four signers be required. Motion
carried.
SIGNATAIRES:
Elaine Warren propose, et David Little appuie,
que le maire Randy Warman, le maire
suppléant William Flanagan, la Directrice
général/secrétaire/trésorière Ashley Jones et
la Directrice du bureau Dianne Robertson
soient nommés les signataires financiers pour
le Village de Rexton et demande une
combinaison de deux sur quatre signataires.
Proposition adoptée.

DEPARTMENTAL PORTFOLIOS LIAISON:
Mayor Randy Warman presented his
recommendations; it was agreed that the final
decision be made at the June meeting.
LIAISON DES PORTEFEUILES MINISTÉRIELS:
Le maire Randy Warman a présenté ses
recommandations; il fut convenu de prendre
une décision définitive à la réunion en juin.
ARENA-PRELIMINARY SUPPORT:
It was moved by William Flanagan and
seconded by David Little that the General
Manager send a letter of support to the Kent
North Center Committee in favor of this
project, however, clarify that no financial
commitment will be made at this time.
Motion carried.
ARÉNA – SOUTIEN PRÉLIMINAIRE:
William Flanagan propose, et David Little
appuie, que la directrice générale envoie une
lettre de soutien au Comité Centre Kent Nord
en faveur de ce projet, cependant, préciser
qu’aucun engagement financier ne sera pris
pour le moment. Proposition adoptée.
MUNICIPAL ORIENTATION:
Council was reminded of the Municipal
Orientation on June 17-18 in Fredericton; each
member has confirmed their attendance.
ORIENTATION MUNICIPAL:
On rappelle le conseil de l’orientation
municipal le 17-18 juin à Fredericton; chacun
des membres a confirmé leur participation.

seconded by Elaine Warren that the meeting
adjourn.
