Prescribed Use

Schieben Sie den USB-Stecker des Hubs in einen USB-Port Ihres PCs (oder in den USB-Port eines anderen
USB-Hubs mit eigener Stromversorgung). Der PC braucht dabei nicht ausgeschaltet werden (gilt nur speziell bei USB-Geräten!).
Connect the USB plug of the hub to a USB port of your PC (or to the USB port of another USB hub with own
power supply).
It is not necessary to switch off the PC (only valid for USB devices!).

Zum Betrieb ist mindestens Windows 98 nötig.
Windows erkennt das Gerät automatisch. Folgen Sie allen Anweisungen von Windows. Die nötigen TreiberDateien sind in Windows enthalten, deshalb liegt keine Treiberdiskette oder -CD bei.
For operation you need at least Windows 98.
Windows recognizes the device automatically. Follow all instructions of Windows. The necessary driver files
are contained in Windows. Therefore, no driver disk or CD is enclosed in the delivery.

An die 4 USB-Ports des Mini-USB-Hubs dürfen nur Geräte angeschlossen werden, die je nur maximal einen
Strom von 100mA benötigen (sog. "Low-Power-USB-Geräte"), da der Mini-USB-Hub nicht über ein eigenes
Netzteil verfügt. High-Power-USB-Geräte mit einem Strombedarf von mehr als 100mA funktionieren am
Mini-USB-Hub nicht.
Only connect devices to the 4 USB ports of the Mini USB hub which need a maximum current of 100mA each
(so-called "low-power USB devices"), since the Mini USB hub is not provided with an own power unit. Highpower USB devices with a power consumption of
more than 100mA do not work with the Mini USB hub

Introduisez le connecteur USB du concentrateur dans un port USB de votre micro-ordinateur (ou dans le port
USB d’un autre concentrateur USB avec bloc d’alimentation). Il n’est pas nécessaire d’arrêter l’ordinateur
(ceci n’est valable que pour les périphériques USB!).
Installation des pilotes
Windows 98 au moins est nécessaire au fonctionnement irréprochable.
Windows détecte automatiquement le périphérique. Suivez toutes les instructions de Windows. Les fichiers
pilotes requis sont compris dans le système d’exploitation Windows, il n’y a donc pas de disquette ou de
cédérom de logiciel de pilotage joint.
Trucs et astuces, remarques
Il ne faut raccorder que des appareils de basse puissance aux quatre ports USB du mini-concentrateur USB
dont chacun ne consomme pas plus que 100 mA de courant (lesdits appareils « low-power « ) puisque le
mini-concentrateur USB ne dispose pas de son propre bloc d’alimentation. Les appareils de forte puissance d’une consommation de plus de 100 mA ne fonctionnent pas sur le mini-concentrateur USB.

Voor een onberispelijke werking is ten minste Windows 98 nodig.
Windows herkent de hub automatisch. Volg alle aanwijzingen op het scherm op. De benodigde driverbestanden zijn een onderdeel van Windows, er is daarom geen extra driverdiskette of CD meegeleverd.
Tips en wenken
Op de 4 USB-poorten van de USB-hub mogen enkel apparaten met een maximaal stroomverbruik van telkens 100mA (zog. "Low-Power-USB-apparatuur") aangesloten worden daar de USB-hub geen eigen netvoeding heeft. High-Power-USB-apparaten met een stroomverbruik van meer dan 100mA functioneren niet
aan deze USB-hub.
