Jacques Archambault, PhD
Basic researcher; Director of the Molecular Virology research unit, IRCM
Jacques Archambault has a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Toronto.
He is Full IRCM Research Professor and associate professor-researcher in the
Department of Biochemistry at the Université de Montréal. He is also an associate
investigator at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC). Dr.
Archambault is adjunct professor in the Department of Medicine (Division of
Experimental Medicine) and adjunct member in the Department of Microbiology and
Immunology at McGill University.
François Coutlée, MD, FRCP
Clinical researcher; Microbiologist infectiologist, laboratory of molecular virology,
Centre de recherche, Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM)
François Coutlée is a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at
the Université de Montréal. He leads a research program supported by CIHR, FRQS and
the Cancer Research Society on the biomarkers of human papillomavirus (HPV)
infection that predict the development of precancerous and cancerous lesions in men
and women’s genital tracts. He works more particularly on the evolution, diagnostic
and treatment of anogenital lesions caused by the papillomavirus in men and women
infected by HIV.
Marc Steben, MD, C.C.M.F., F.C.M.F.
Medical consultant, Unit on sexually-transmitted infections, Institut national de santé
publique du Québec
Marc Steben is a family doctor. He chairs the Quebec committee on sexuallytransmitted infections, Comité sur les infections transmissibles sexuellement et par le
sang (CITSS), and is member of the comitttee on STD laboratory analyses, Comité sur
les analyses de laboratoires en lien avec les ITSS (CALI). Dr. Steben is also a member of
the Departments of Social and Preventive Medicine and of Obstetrics and Gynecology
in the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. He is the Medical Director of
Clinique A, a clinic specialized in the multidisciplinary approach of sexual health. He is
also a member of group of experts and main author of the chapters in HPV, genital
herpes and genital ulcers of the Canadian Guidelines on Sexually Transmitted
Infections. Dr. Steben is the recipient of the 2009 Gilles-des-Rosiers Awards for his
involvement in medical training and was thereby inducted in the Hall of Fame of the
Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ).

Louise Lambert-Lagacé et associées
Louise Lambert-Lagacé is President of the Clinique de nutrition Louise Lambert-Lagacé
et associés and Chairs the IRCM’s Board of Directors. She earned a B.Sc. in nutrition
from the Université de Montréal. She is the author of a dozen nutritional books for the
general public, some of which have been translated into many languages, and is the coauthor of six books for health-care professionals and physicians. She has written many
articles for Châtelaine, Sel et Poivre, and Le Devoir and hosted over 600 TV programs
on nutrition on Radio-Canada, Radio-Québec and TVA. She received the Médaille du
Cent cinquantième from the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She
is a member of the Order of Canada and Chevalière de l’Ordre national du Québec.
