L’ASSIR est le chapitre régional Africain de
l’International Society for Sexual Medicine
(ISSM) à laquelle la SFMS est en cours
d’affiliation via l’ESSM et l’ASSIR.
Le congrès de Mombassa comportera une
traduction simultanée anglais-français.
Il commencera par un symposium en français
de 4 heures organisé par la SFMS sur le thème
Perturbations Métaboliques et Hormonales
et Sexualité
abordant particulièrement les thèmes du
Diabète, de l’Andropause et de la Ménopause.

Welcome Message
Mombasa, Kenya Will be the host city of the 5th Meeting of the African Society for
Sexual and Impotence Research which will be held from 4 – 6 March 2005 .
It is our pleasure to welcome all our colleagues from Africa and all over the World
to exchange experience and discuss the recent advances related to Sexual
Dysfunction. This year our main theme is SEXUAL HEALTH AND RIGHTS and for
the first time the congress will be accompanied by a Sexual Health Community
Forum.
The Congress will include Plenary Lectures, Podium Presentations and Panel
Discussion, which is a great opportunity for those interested in the field of Sexual
Function to present their Scientific Studies and exchange views and ideas.
Mombasa is a very attractive venue with lots of touristic attractions.
The organizing committee has prepared a rich social program during the congress
with post congress tours to the Masai Mara.
We are looking forwards to welcome you to Kenya and ensure you that you will
have a memorable and enjoyable stay in Mombasa.
