NATIONAL CONTACT POINT INFORMATION FORM
The Sixth Review Conference in 2006 decided that each State Party should designate a national point
of contact for:
•
Coordinating national implementation of the Convention and communicating with other States
Parties and relevant international organizations;
•
Preparing the submission of confidence-building measures;
•
Facilitating information exchange of universalization efforts.
The Conference requested States Parties to inform the Implementation Support Unit of the details of
their national point of contact. Please use this form to provide the necessary information and return it
by e-mail to [email protected], by fax to +41 (0)22 917 0483, or by mail.
Note: you may wish to nominate a specific person by name, or just an office or function (e.g.
"Director, WMD Section"), which may be more convenient if staff changes occur regularly.
