Attention all Members: The Annual Meeting of Tignish Fisheries Co-operative will be held on Monday, March
29th at 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. Storm date: Tuesday, March 30th, same time and place.
Stockroom/Fishmart Hours: Stockroom and fishmart is now OPEN all week! Hours are Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Come in and check out our full range of fishing supplies to

21st SENIOR’S EXPO
The 21 Senior’s Expo will be held at the Mill River Rodd Resort on Tuesday, June 1st from 12:00 noon
to 7:30 p.m. There will be music, laughter and dinner! Tickets are $20.00. You can reserve your tickets

ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, April 11th beginning
at 12:00 noon. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, dessert and tea/coffee. Cost: adults $8.00
and children $4.00. Proceeds go to the up-keep of the Hall.

MINOR JUNIOR “C” FUNDRAISING HOCKEY GAME
On Sunday, March 28th at 3:00 pm at the Tignish Credit Union Arena the Tignish Minor Junior “C” will play
against players of the Tignish Senior Aces and other players from the West Prince Area including: Kory
Cooke, Kyle Cooke, Morgan Cooke, Darcy Harris, Jordan Knox, Jeff Keough, Mitchell Hardy, Davy Callaghan,
Skyler Hustler, David Oliver and John Murphy. This game is a fundraiser to assist in the cost for the Tignish
Minor Junior “C” team to attend the Maritime - Hockey North Junior “C” Championship that is to be held in
Fredericton, NB on April 8th - 11th. There will be a 50/50 draw during the game and a barbecue will be set
up outside the rink.
INTERESTED IN LEARNING CONVERSATIONAL FRENCH?
Beginning the week of April 26th, classes will be offered in your area! Classes will run for 11 weeks at 3 hours
per week. Registration fee is $150 per person (includes workbook). Please register by April 2nd. For more

The very interesting exhibition Acadians and Sports: Then and Now continues on display at the Acadian
Museum of Prince Edward Island, in Miscouche, until Sunday, April 18th. The exhibition features many photos
and aritifacts related to Island Acadian sport legends and team from years ago to today. Visiting hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (except closed on Easter Sunday).
Admission is free (except for groups); donations are appreciated. Information: 432-2880.

L’exposition très intéressante Les Acadiens et le sport: d’hier à aujourd’hui continue en montre au Musée
acadien de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, à Miscouche, jusqu’au dimanche 18 avril. L’exposition comprend de
nombreuses photos et artefacts ayant trait aux équipes sportives et aux athlètes légendaires acadiens de l’Île,
d’autrefois et d’aujourd’hui. Les heures d’ouverture sont du lundi au vendredi, de 9h30 à 17h00, et les
dimanches, de 13h00 à 16h00 (excepté fermé le dimanche de Pâques). L’entrée est gratuite (excepté pour
