Les Chevaliers de Colomb vous invitent à un dîner au rôti de boeuf le dimanche 4 décembre
débutant à 12h00. Le dîner consiste d’un rôti de boeuf avec toutes les garnitures, dessert et thé
ou café. Coût: adultes 8$ et enfants 4$. Les profits iront pour l’entretien de la salle.
ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, December
4th beginning at 12:00 p.m. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, dessert, and
tea/coffee. Cost: Adults $8 and children $4. Proceeds will go towards the up-keep of the Hall.
BENEFIT
There will be a benefit in aid of Theresa Carr on Sunday, December 4th at the Tignish Legion at
7:00 p.m. Theresa has to travel to Halifax to have two stents put in. There will be local
entertainment, an auction, lottery, 50/50, and fudge sale. Donations accepted at the door. Please
come out and help this worthy cause.
« NOËL DE CHEZ NOUS » AU MUSÉE ACADIEN
Le public est invité au « Noël de chez nous » au Musée acadien, à Miscouche, le dimanche 4
décembre à 19h00. Le programme comprendra la chorale de Mont-Carmel, une chorale d’élèves
de l’École-sur-Mer, le violoneux Peter Arsenault, accompagné au piano par Hélène Bergeron, et
des jeunes gigueuses de Summerside et Miscouche. Un réveillon de pâtés à la viande et de
douceurs sera servi. Entrée gratuite; mais les dons sont appréciés. Organisée par La BelleAlliance et le Musée acadien. (Date de tempête : le 11 décembre).
CHRISTMAS AT THE ACADIAN MUSEUM
The public is invited to “Christmas at the Acadian Museum” in Miscouche, on Sunday, December
4th at 7:00 p.m. The program will include the Mont-Carmel Choir, a student choir from École-surMer, fiddler Peter Arsenault, accompanied on the piano by Hélène Bergeron, and young stepdancers from Summerside and Miscouche. A réveillon of festive foods will be served. Free
admission; but donations are appreciated. Organized by La Belle-Alliance and the Acadian
Museum. (Storm date: December 11).
TIGNISH DRAMA CLUB
The next monthly meeting for the Tignish Drama Club will be held on Monday, December 5th
at 7:00 p.m. at the Normalization Centre workshop.
The Tignish Drama Club will present their Christmas play “A Bit of Christmas Faith” on
Saturday, December 10th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the
Tignish Parish Center. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students, and preschoolers are free.

St. Louis T.O.P.S. meets every Monday at the St. Louis Community Hall. Weigh-in is from 6:00

MIMINEGASH FIRE DEPARTMENT TOY DRIVE
The Miminegash Fire Department is organizing a toy drive for Kids West Families in West Prince
who have limited resources this holiday season. This year, donations are desperately needed
and they are asking the community to support this worthy cause. New, unwrapped toys for girls
and boys can be dropped off at the St. Louis Post Office, F.J. Shea & Sons, Tremblay’s Grocery,
or Deagle’s General Store. Please help bring a smile to the face of a child during this magical
time of year. Deadline is Thursday, December 8th.

Gordons Tours are going to see the awesome display of Christmas lights in Rustico and

CHRISTMAS CAKE SALE

Tignish Co-op link on Friday, December 16th beginning at 9:30 a.m. and buy your cake(s). Lots
to choose from: Gumdrop cakes, light or dark fruitcakes, etc. Cake prices begin at $20. All
money raised from this sale goes to “Stacy’s Arsenault Breast Cancer Team” to raise money to
help find a cure for Breast Cancer. If you would like to donate a cake or if you want more

TIGNISH CHILDREN’S WITH CHRISTMAS HOUSE TOUR
The “Children’s Wish Christmas House Tour” will take place on Sunday, December 18th
beginning at 6:00 p.m. Thank you to those who offered their homes as part of the Tour. Nicole
& Jeddy Buote, Barb Shea-Gaudet & Ivan Gaudet, Maria & Gary Gaudet, Jim & Bernie Cobham,
Lois & Kenny McRae, Dot & Edward Martin, Carmella & Ernest Pitre. Lunch (chili, roll, dessert,
and tea/coffee) will be served at the Tignish Heritage Inn following the Tour. Tickets are $15 per
