Poste et missions:
CEEME, the Center of Expertise in Economic Modeling and Studies helps ENGIE’s functional and operational entities to better understand and
manage their strategic or operational challenges related to economics in an increasingly complex and uncertain environment.
The Energy System Consulting team of Tractebel delivers high level worldwide consulting on Power Systems and is the excellence center of ENGIE
for all related topics. The team also develops and markets power system analysis software (see www.eurostag.com)
•You are in charge of studies on an international level dealing with:
oPlanning and economics of the energy systems (technical and economic aspects…)
oOperation and control of the power systems (dynamic simulation, support to Energy Management Systems, and training of operators…)
oRenewable Energy planning(policies, network integration,…)
•You use in-house power system simulation tools;
•You check the design of simulation and optimization software for power system analysis and specify new functionalities;
•You develop innovative concepts regarding design and operation of energy systems, incorporating new technologies and addressing renewable
sources of energy such as wind power generation, smart/super grids in a competitive electricity market environment;
•You work in a team on industrial research projects, on projects for international clients (transmission system operators, industrials, public
authorities…) or for the ENGIE Group;
•You participate to the activities of the aforementioned departments (strategic studies, functional specifications for new tools,…)
Profil:
You have a strong interest in the power systems and their various components and complex systemic interactions.
Good knowledge of economics and engineering of power systems. Understanding of optimization and mathematical modeling is an asset.
Strong analytical skills and computer proficiency
Dynamic, creative, autonomous, team spirit, client oriented, with a taste for high-level expertise
