 Sweetheart Moonlight Snowshoe Excursion - Celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, February 14 , with your
sweetheart, friends or family at Trout River Natural Area with a moonlight snowshoe excursion, from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. There will be a campfire, free hot chocolate, and snacks. Please bring your own flashlight. Snowshoes

CIRCLE OF CONNECTION - INFORMATION SESSION

Join us for an information session on Wednesday, February 12 , at 10:00 a.m., during the Family Violence
Prevention week at the Rural Action Centre, 455 Main St., Alberton. Circle of Connection is a community
based volunteer organization. There will be a presentation on “Women and the Law” by the PEI FPVS. All are
welcome to attend. Snacks will be provided. This event is sponsored in part by Tyne Valley, with support from

GED PROGRAM – DALTON CENTER, TIGNISH
Our door is still wide open for any adults who want to join our class and work on their GED. We offer a day program
from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Come to the Dalton Center to check it out, or call 882-3950. There
is still time to apply and get started. If you don’t have a Grade 12 diploma, do it now!

KIDS WEST WINTER FUN
Kids West staff is having great fun spending time with West Prince families and their children. Beat the winter blues

have the opportunity to go ice skating, make valentines, snow painting, tobogganing, and go for a trail walk. Also

Join the Palmer Road Knights of Columbus on Friday, February 14 , at 6:30 p.m., to be wined and dined. The
Knights will be serving a delicious three course meal consisting of salad, roast turkey with all the trimmings, dessert,

Tignish ATV Sportsman Riders will be holding a Run on Sunday, February 16 , at their Clubhouse in DeBlois. The
Tignish Children's Wish Foundation will be providing a lunch following the Run and will be selling 50/50 tickets with
proceeds going to Children's Wish.

TIGNISH CREDIT UNION ARENA FUNDRAISER – COLD PLATE DINNER

The Tignish Credit Union Arena will be selling cold plate dinners as a fundraiser on Friday, February 21 . Plates are
$10 each and consist of ham, turkey, potato salad, coleslaw, roll, and dessert. Anyone interested in purchasing a
plate, please call 882-3853 or 856-0673. Plates can be picked up at Royal Star Foods between the hours of 9:00
a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or delivery is available. Order early to avoid disappointment. Thank you for your support!
50/50 BINGO

There will be a 50/50 Bingo at Miminegash Fire Hall on Saturday, February 22 , beginning at 2:00 p.m. This
bingo is to help raise money for Jesse Todd, who is travelling to New Zealand in March to complete his final 6 weeks
of University training to become a teacher. There will be 50/50 tickets sold as well as some refreshments.
SOUPER À LA MORUE SALÉE
Le Club des Coeurs joyeux vous invites à un souper de morue salée, qui comprend le bacon, chow-chow, des

Le Club des Coeurs joyeux invite you to come out to a salt fish supper, which includes bacon, chow-chow,

vegetables, along with dessert, tea or coffee, on Friday, February 28 , from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Centre
acadien de Prince-Ouest, in DeBlois. Cost is $12.50 ($10.00 for members). An alternative meal will be offered to
those who do not like salt fish.

 The Annual Volunteer Dinner will be held on Friday, February 28 ,at the Tignish Legion. Because of your time
and dedication, the Bargain Basement has been a great success for the Health Centre and we would like to show
our appreciation for all that you do. The evening will be filled with entertainment, lots of laughs, auction, and a
very good supper. Evening begins at 5:00 p.m. We hope you all can attend and have a great time. Please call

 The Bargain Basement is a great asset for Tignish and surrounding areas. If you would like to donate a few hours

MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE OFFERED IN FRENCH
Le Centre d’éducation chrétienne is offering a marriage preparation course in French for couples who are planning to
