Format+Time Control:
Blitz chess, 5 minutes per player and game, FIDE Blitz rules,
tournament mode according to the number of participants,
altogether approximately 100 games
Participants:
The tournament is open for everybody and restricted to 64 participants in total.
Scoring:
(1) Main score according to achieved points
(2) Heidenau-score: Rating according to DWZ-change with the following modification:
 Special rating and development coefficient will be neglected,
 Players without DWZ (Elo / not DSB player): the performance of the first series of
the tournament will be taken as the starting DWZ for the remaining tournament
In case of equal score the result of the direct games will be decisive. In case of equality the
decision will be made in a play-off.
Prize fund:
The prices stated below can be regarded as minimum values. They may increase depending
on the number of participants. The updated values will be announced after the beginning of
the tournament.
Main score:
1st place: 200 €* 2nd place 80 €*
Heidenau-score: 1st place: 40 €* 2nd place 25 €*
3rd place 40 €*
3rd place 15 €*
A doubled prize assignment is excluded.

Basic food and beverages will be provided.
Supervision independently of the games is not possible. The organisers shall not be liable for material or personal
damages. Each participant is liable for any damage caused by himself. By registration to the tournament each
participant (or its parent or legal guardian) declares its approval that photographic images or video recording may be
done during the tournament and that the resulting media files can be used by Schachklub Heidenau within the legal
possibilities. This is also valid after the finish of the tournament.
