As my Integrative Project, I have chosen to organize a team to represent The Study in the 3rd Annual President’s Cup Wheelchair Basketball Tournament fundraiser benefitting the Action Centre and the Physically Disabled. This tournament will take place on Saturday May 12th, 2012, at Lower Canada College. Each team will play several games of wheelchair basketball, lasting ten minutes each, against other high school teams. In order for a high school team to participate in this tournament, the team must raise a minimum of $2,500. Contributions can be made to a specific team member or to the team, The Study Sonics, in general. Any contributions made to either the fundraising goal of a specific team member or to the fundraising goal of the team will go directly to the Action Centre. If you would like to support the Action Centre through my Integrative Project, on behalf of The Study Sonics wheelchair basketball team, please follow the following instructions to reach the online donation page: 1) Access the Action Centre’s webpage at http://www.centreaction.org 2) Click on the Basketball President’s Cup 2012 banner in the top right corner of the page 3) Click the “Faire un don à l’équipe/l’individus” photo on the left side of the page 4) Click on the “Recherche d’équipe” tab under the page’s heading 5) Search our team’s name (The Study Sonics) and fill out the donation form A monetary donation of any amount can be made.
