release ratio than synthetic fibre filling. It is also
very compressible. Lafuma sleeping bags are
available in a variety of down qualities to meet all
your needs:
- Down/feathers ratio: a «90/10» down contains
90% down (providing thermal qualities and
comfort) and 10% feathers.
- Fill power: a 600 cuin (cubic inches) fill power
means that one ounce of down can contain 600
cubic inches of air (i.e. 10 g of down can store
nearly 4 litres of air). Greater the fill power is,
better is the thermal insulation.

FILLING - DUCK DOWN
FR Le garnissage en duvet naturel offre un meilleur
ratio poids/thermicité que le garnissage en fibres
synthétiques. Il est aussi très compressible. Les
sacs de couchages Lafuma sont proposés avec
différentes qualités de duvet afin de répondre à
tous vos besoins :
- Ratio duvet/plumettes : un duvet “90/10”
contient 90% de duvet (apport des qualités
thermiques et du confort) et 10% de plumettes.
- Fill power : un fill power de 600 cuin (cubic
inches) signifie qu’une once de duvet peut contenir
600 pouces au cube d’air (soit que 10 g de duvet
peuvent stocker près de 4 litres d’air). Plus le fill
power est important, meilleure est l’isolation

TEMPERATURE - NORMS
FR Les sacs de couchage Lafuma sont testés par des
laboratoires indépendants selon la norme européenne
EN13537.
Cette norme détermine les trois températures d’utilisation
suivantes :
1 - Température extrême : Température à laquelle se produit
une hypothermie (déterminée pour une femme, souvent
plus frileuse, et dans des conditions normales d’utilisation).
2 - Température de transition : Limite à laquelle l’utilisateur
du sac de couchage, recroquevillé, est globalement en équilibre
thermique et n’a ni froid, ni chaud (déterminée pour un
homme, dans des conditions normales d’utilisation).
3 - Température de confort : Limite inférieure de confort
à laquelle l’utilisateur du sac de couchage en posture
détendue, par exemple étendu sur le dos, est globalement
en équilibre thermique et n’a ni froid ni chaud (déterminée
pour une femme et dans des conditions normales d’utilisation).
Attention, les conditions d’utilisation, l’entraînement de la
personne et son état physique au moment de l’utilisation du
sac peuvent engendrer des écarts conséquents de sensation
au froid.
DE Die Schlafsäcke von Lafuma werden von unabhängigen
Warentestlabors nach der europäischen Norm EN13537
getestet. Diese Norm legt die drei folgenden Temperaturbereiche zur Verwendung der Schlafsäcke fest:
1 - Extremtemperatur: Temperatur, bei der es zu Körperunterkühlung kommt (Testvorgabe durch eine Standardfrau,
da oft kälteempfindlicher, unter normalen Verwendungsbedingungen).
2 - Übergangtemperatur: Grenztemperatur, bei der es
dem Benutzer des Schlafsacks in angewinkelter Seitenlage
weder kalt noch warm ist, dieser also in einem Wärme/
Kältegleichgewicht steht (Testvorgabe durch einen Standardmann unter normalen Verwendungsbedingungen).
3 - Komforttemperatur: Untere Komforttemperatur, bei
der es dem Benutzer des Schlafsacks in entspannter Lage,
z. B. auf dem Rücken, weder kalt noch warm ist, dieser also in
einem Wärme/Kältegleichgewicht steht (Testvorgabe durch
eine Standardfrau, unter normalen Verwendungsbedingungen).
Achtung: Verwendungsbedingungen, Fitness und körperlicher
Zustand der Person bei Benutzung des Schlafsacks können
jedoch zu erheblichen Unterschieden in der Kälteempfindung
führen.
EN Lafuma sleeping bags are tested by independent laboratories in compliance with European standard EN13537.
This standard determines the following three usage
temperatures:
1 - Extreme temperature: The temperature at which
hypothermia occurs (determined for a woman, who frequently
feels the cold more, and under normal conditions of use).
2 - Transition temperature: The limit at which a person
curled up in the sleeping bag is in overall thermal equilibrium
and is neither hot nor cold (determined for a man under
normal conditions of use).
3 - Comfort temperature: Lower comfort limit of where a
person in relaxed posture in the sleeping bag (lying on the
back, for example) is in overall thermal equilibrium and is
neither hot nor cold (determined for a woman under normal
conditions of use).
Caution, the conditions of use, the user’s training and physical
fitness at the time of using the bag can cause variations
which may result in feeling cold.
