COMMIS DE CUISINE (YOUNG CHEF)

Executive Chef / Sous Chef
Job Description:
The Commis des Cuisine (Young Chef) is performing basic
cooking and is supporting the Sous Chef with the daily
food preparation of food items in the pantry, fry
stations or other areas of the kitchen.
Position Requirements:
• Tourism or Hospitality degree
• Minimum experience of 1 year in a 4 or 5 star hotel
or high end a la carte restaurant / beach club in a
similar position
• Excellent knowledge of basic preparation,
presentation and preservation of food.
• Excellent knife handling skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and
food handling procedures.
• European passport / working permission

• Professional communication skills, appearance and
behavior.
• Very good English skills.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under
