Tay Hui Hui, also known as Chef Bell, is the Les Amis Group Subsidiary NamNam Noodle Bar's Head Chef.
Embarking on her culinary journey 11 year ago, Chef Bell started out as a Junior Sous Chef under the
now-defunct The Canteen restaurant in 2008. Following that, she took the reins as Head Chef in Maestro
Bistro and Seletar Club's Fastaddy Cafe Aust-Line Cook.
Apart from her culinary skills, Chef Bell holds a passion for Judo as she was part of the National Judo
Team. However, she felt it was time to stumble upon a different path to broaden her interests and
knowledge. The adventurous foodie eventually devoted her energy to the culinary world instead.
Chef Bell was inspired by the TV programme Hell's Kitchen, as she admired Gordon Ramsay's
management of his kitchen team. The discipline and teamwork in the kitchen were similar to the values
emphasized in Judo. Hence, she took on the challenge of learning to cook on her own without any
culinary education. Chef Bell developed her love for cooking with a remarkable dedication to selfstudying and research.
