Healing Mass:

Windsor, ON is celebrated the first Friday of every month. Our next
Mass is June 6th at 7:00 pm. We will have Teams to pray with you

Today our Lord promises a gift which we will
celebrate in two weeks on Pentecost Sunday - the
gift of the Holy Spirit. After Vatican II, our Church
called for a renewed outpouring of the Spirit of
Pentecost, and a new-evangelization. The Holy
Spirit, who dwells within all the baptized, leads us
and gives each of us the necessary gifts to make us
fit and ready to contribute to the renewal of society
and the building up of the Kingdom. Are you ready

I have received since I’ve been Pastor
here at Visitation Parish. I especially
thank you for your best wishes and
prayers as I celebrated my 40th
anniversary to the priesthood. I really
enjoyed sharing ice cream with
everyone.

We are all called to holiness. Sanctify
Christ as Lord in your hearts, we read
in the second reading. If you love me,
you will keep my commandments,
exhorts Jesus in the Gospel. The call
to holiness echoes all around us in the
readings today. Jesus tells us that we
are not alone and promises the Holy
Spirit will help us.

CWL News
The May General meeting will take place on Monday, May
26th at 7:00 pm. We will be having a FUN night so
“BRING A FRIEND” and enjoy a Fashion show with some
of our CWL models wearing Lill’s room apparel from Tru
Country & Garden, Comber following the business portion
of the meeting...we’ll be sure to keep it short. Hope to see
many of you there! Surprises are in store for those
attending.

Come and See Vocation Event
Young men ages 14 to 25 are invited to visit
religious brothers and priests at St. Francis Friary
Blenheim, Ontario at 9169 West Ridge Line off of
Talbot Trail. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to
4:00 pm on Saturday, June 21st. Family members

Grief Retreat "Be Still and Know I Am":
Greeting Card Fundraiser: We are selling 30 specialty
type greeting cards with matching envelopes for $30. The
member who sells the most boxes wins one box free! Orders
must be prepaid and turned in no later than May 26th at the
General Meeting night. Greeting card orders will be
delivered in time for the June 16th General meeting. Your
support of this fundraiser is greatly appreciated.
Grief Retreat with Fr. Ben Luedtke, Spiritual Director. It
does not matter how long or how recent your loss. September
12-14, 2014 at Holy Family Retreat House in Oxley, Ontario.
Retreats begin at 6:00 pm on Friday and conclude Sunday at

Church Basement Ladies: Sunday, June 1st show at
Victoria, Playhouse in Petrolia. Parking is limited so if you
can carpool to the church that would be ideal. Please park at
the back on the gravel by 10:45 am for the bus. You will be
provided with your ticket once you board the bus. It is
suggested that you pack yourself a lunch and snacks as we
will not be stopping for lunch. Following the show we will
be going out to supper in Petrolia. Each member pays their
own meal. Looking forward to a wonderful day!

your bulletin you will find an insert, which provides
information on this campaign and explains why the Diocese
of London is participating. Signs will be displayed at every
Church in the diocese for the duration of the Ontario
