High in the hills looking down over the valley of Grand Fond to the south or the lagoon
at Grand Cul de Sac to the north, the neighbourhood of Vitet was long a well-kept St.
Barth secret. Today, a number of new properties have opened this extraordinarily calm
and private region to visitors seeking fantastic views, sun-filled days and starry night
skies. The nearest beaches are Lorient (less than 10 minutes away) and Saline (about
10 minutes away). Shopping for groceries is easy at the supermarkets, fruit and
vegetable market or fish stand in Lorient. Gustavia is 15 to 20 minutes away.
The luxury villa for rent overlooks Grand Cul de Sac and the Atlantic beyond, and is
just minutes from fine dining and spa services at renowned beachfront resort hotels.

This unique private St Barth villa is inspired by the principles of the Zen garden:
simplicity of line and form with minimal and contemporary furnishings, allowing the
beauty and tranquillity of respected materials to shape your experience. The kitchen is
a gourmet dream combining function and style, decorated in tropical woods, stainless
steel, polished concrete, and glass. Top-of-the-line appliances make cooking a
pleasure, from the in-counter range-top to the wine storage unit. The indoor living
area, overlooking the pool, features oversized white linen couches, and a DVD Player,
Stereo and TV and Artemide reading lamps.
There are five bedrooms, two of which are on an upper level and one is in a separate
suite at the entrance of the villa. It has a private kitchen and terrace with luxurious
banquettes. All the bedrooms boast king beds fitted with Italian linens and cashmere
blankets, air conditioning, CD player, en suite bathroom and in-room safe. Thick white
European drapes provide privacy, and sophisticated lighting lends the rooms an
elegant evening ambience. The master bedroom has a TV/DVD and opens to the
terrace and pool. It has a large bath and also an office with phone/fax and computer
hook-up. There is a stainless steel outdoor shower near the pool.

Stroll down a short path to the sunny central court of the villa, with its Japaneseinspired teak deck and shimmering pool. Classic-designed chaises tempt you to soak
up the sun and marvel at the magnificent views of the wide Atlantic. Nearby you have
another choice for relaxation in the comfy bamboo and wicker lounger under a shady
colonnade. The outside living area is under a covered terrace with oversized
banquettes. The terrace consists of a marvellous barbecue area with seating for a
dozen friends around oversized teak table under a gazebo above the pool.
All bookings that include Christmas Day or New Year's Day will be charged at the
Holiday Rate for a minimum of 7 to 14 days, depending on the villa selected. Please
