Question 1
We are wondering if we can push the leaves in autumn in the woods located on the grounds of
Park National Battlefields? Even those who are not ready undergrowth as we have leaf blowers
very powerful and quiet.
A: Yes, provided that the work is carried out professionally and carefully. (Ex: it will not be
allowed to blow the leaves of a single gesture on a distance greater than 10 meters or blowing
leaves in unwanted places such as : surface circulation / flowerbed or in the immediate periphery
areas occupied by visitors.) We also wish that the leaves will be blown only at the forested areas.
Forested areas must not be used as places of passage between two blown turf leaves.
Question 2
What are the frequencies of raking leaves?
A: According to climatic conditions, almost every day there is a period of windy places in the
canopy. Otherwise, normally 1-2 times/week at places where there is presence of a tree.
Question 3
Is there a limit to the noise for residential areas (diesel blower)?
A: The noise limit to be respected is the one defined by urban settlement of the "Quebec City"
RCA 1.Vde Q. Settlement of the borough of La Cité-Limoilou on urbanism.
Question 4
In Appendix A in the section "Use of premises by the Contractor" 1.10.8 (page 4/4) .
It is written that the NBC reserve a space within the courtyard of the workshop for storage of the
machinery of the contractor. The contractor who will want to use this space will have to conduct
a rental agreement with NBC.
Is there a rental cost?
If so how much is it?

A: Yes. The value of annual rent is $3 000 + taxes. Provide for indexation of 2% for each year of
options. This is at the contractor’s discretion (foresee that cost in your proposal).
The Contractor shall provide a general proof of liability insurance to have access to the garage.
The garage measures approximately 6 meters by 6 meters and includes a garage door 2.74 meters
wide.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED.
