After a lunch in one of the surrounding restaurants near the Churchill place, visit the
Bernardaud Factory.
On your way, explore the sandstone architectures in the street Avenue Saint Surin.
From Number 11 to number 17, the houses built in the 70’s present ornamented
sandstone facades elaborated by the ceramist artist: Maïté Pécaud. Stylized patterns
refer to the vegetal world or birds, the sinuous lines contrast with the typical
geometrical architectures of the 70’s.
In front of the Bernardaud factory, you can see a porcelain fountain realized with
porcelain dishes, a work of Rebeyrolle.
Enjoy a guided tour in the
Bernardaud Factory.
Discover the secret of the ancient
manufacture as well as the making
of porcelain and its decoration.
Don’t forget to visit the outlet
center: it is a great opportunity to
find a wedding present or beautiful
jewelry for your other half.
