the obtention of day old chicks from commercial suppliers was not only very expensive, but difficult also. That is why the
wan poultry and transforming common initiative group has decided to initiative the production of their own day old small
scale peavent farmers was interested in improving their economic status life. At the beginning, they brought an incibator,
and fertile eggs from their individual poultry units, and all these were jointly incubated and distributed to needy members.
The excess of which is sold to other interested farmers. In the same way group .......are also neared using mainly poultry
and hatchery eggs from in cubatoas and eegs shells as somme form supplying fentile eggs to neighbours as some times
the product fall far short of demand. This activity has helped reduce rural exodus as most people around have learnt
simple was of being gainfully busy and socially useful.
COMMENTAIRES : "learning by doing " is of course the best was to master something. Many people around the quarter
can now produce their own day old chicks thanks to the initiative taken by the wan poultry farming/transforming CIG.
