DEVELOPING SYNERGIES
Dear %%FIRSTNAME%%,
One aspect of the NHSM campaign is to ensure a lasting impact. To do this we all need to ensure that we create
and develop synergies – on a European level within the organisation and, on a national level, between partners
who could come together to start a campaign in countries where none yet exists. One example of this is the
decision of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Committee on Equality to launch a "No Hate
Parliamentary Alliance" at its October session in Strasbourg. By joining the Alliance, parliamentarians commit to
taking open, firm and pro-active stands against racism, hatred and intolerance, to promote non-discrimination,
conduct campaign activities and exchange information on law and best practice in these fields. We welcome this
excellent initiative.
PHOTO COMPETITION
30 June to 1 September 2014
The No Hate Speech Movement is organising an international
photo competition in relation to the European Action Day against
Islamophobia and Religious Intolerance, 21 September. By
submitting a photo in relation to this topic, you can win a €300 gift
voucher and an invitation to a Council of Europe activity. For

NHSM LOGO ON EUROPEAN YOUTH CARD
The Croatian Youth Hostel Association (CYHA) has just launched a
special edition of the European Youth Card to promote the No Hate
Speech Movement, in partnership with the Croatian Ministry of Social
Policies and Youth. 5000 special cards bearing the No Hate logo
have been produced in order to increase youth participation in the
campaign activities.

UPCOMING EVENTS
22 JULY, WORLD WIDE
The campaign recently established 22 July as a European
Action Day to show solidarity with victims and people targeted
by hate crime. We also want to make this a European Day,
where focus is put on raising awareness and educating the
general public on hate crime’s consequences on society. Sign

Le MCDH vise à avoir un résultat sur le long terme. Pour ce faire, nous devons tous créer et développer des
synergies, que ce soit au niveau Européen au sein de l’organisation ou bien au niveau national entre les
partenaires qui se réuniraient pour créer une campagne dans les pays où il n’y en a pas. Un exemple est la
décision du Comité pour l’Egalité de l’Assemblée Parlementaire du Conseil de l’Europe de lancer une « Alliance
Parlementaire Non à la Haine » pendant la session du mois d’Octobre à Strasbourg. En rejoignant cette Alliance,
les parlementaires s’engagent à prendre une position ferme et pro-active contre le racisme, la haine et
l’intolérance. Ils s’engagent également à promouvoir la non-discrimination, à mener des activités sur la campagne
et à échanger des informations sur la loi et les bonnes pratiques dans ces domaines. Nous soutenons cette
excellente initiative.
CONCOURS DE PHOTOGRAPHIES
Concours de photographies, 1er Septembre
Le Mouvement contre le discours de haine organise un concours
international de photographies en lien avec la Journée d’Action
Européenne du 21 Septembre contre l’Islamophobie et la Diversité
Religieuse. En envoyant une photo sur ce sujet, vous pouvez
gagner un bon de 300 euros et une invitation à une des
activités du Conseil de l’Europe. Pour plus d’informations,

LOGO MCDH SUR LA CARTE JEUNES EUROPÉENNE
L’Association croate des auberges de jeunesse (CYHA) vient de
lancer une édition spéciale de la Carte Jeunes Européenne pour
promouvoir le Mouvement contre le discours de haine, en partenariat
avec le Ministère Croate des Politiques Sociales et de Jeunesse.
5000 cartes spéciales avec le logo Non à la Haine ont été produites
pour encourager la participation des jeunes dans les activités liées à
la campagne.

EUROPÉENNE POUR LES VICTIMES DE CRIMES DE HAINE
Le Mouvement contre le discours de haine a fixé le 22 Juillet
comme étant une Journée d’Action Européenne en solidarité
avec les victimes et cibles de crimes de haine. Nous
souhaitons également faire de cette journée une journée
Européenne, qui visera à sensibiliser et à éduquer le public
dans son ensemble sur les conséquences des crimes de haine
