From the definition of the word of the moment, we learn that, in 1879, German journalist Wilhelm Marr
originated the term antisemitism, denoting the hatred of Jews, and also hatred of various liberal,
cosmopolitan, and international political trends of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries often
associated with Jews. The trends under attack included equal civil rights, constitutional
democracy, free trade, socialism, finance capitalism, and pacifism.
The No Hate Speech Movement is based on fundamental principles which are more than simple trends
– but include human rights, democracy and the rule of law – and which reflect the earlier “trends” of the
19th century. So we could be justified in thinking that all of our supporters are Semites, and that those
who attack Semites are attacking all of us and the fundamental values for which we stand -

EUROPEAN ACTION DAY AGAINST FASCISM AND
ANTISEMITISM – 9 NOVEMBER 2014
The 9 November is the European Action Day against Fascism and
Antisemitism! This day will focus on fighting against the fascistic
ideas and antisemitic ideas that are spread on the Internet. Six
actions have been recommended by the No Hate Speech Movement
team, that you are invited to spread around you and undertake. You
can find them on the platform of the Movement:
www.nohatespeechmovement.org. We invite you now to share the
message in the social media: “Antisemitism – not on my internet!”
WORLD FORUM FOR DEMOCRACY
The World Forum for Democracy took place in Strasbourg from 3 to 5
November!
One of the labs was entitled - “No to Neo-Nazis, No to Hate Speech”
and took place on 4 November at 10h30 in the Palais de l’Europe
(Strasbourg).
The panel consisted of several experts of hate speech and hate crime, including Mr Nils Muiznieks,
Commissioner for Human Rights at the Council of Europe, our German partner organisation “No Nazi
Net” and the “Stork Heinar” Initiative, which parodies Nazi ideology.
SEMINAR FOR ONLINE ACTIVISTS
A seminar for online activists gathering the stakeholders of the campaign
will take place at the European Youth Centre Strasbourg from 7-11
December. The objectives of the seminar are to reinforce and develop
the work of the network of online activists in the No Hate Speech
Movement and also to celebrate the International Human Rights Day.
The team of online activists will be implementing the week of the 10
December, for the celebration and promotion of Human Rights.
NCC WARSAW 9-11 NOVEMBER
Around 40 participants will gather in Warsaw for the Meeting of National Campaign Coordinators. They
will be mostly from the National Campaign Committees, activists and Council of Europe representatives.
All these campaign stakeholders will gather to celebrate first of all the European Action Day of the 9
November against Fascism and Antisemitism, but also to discuss the future of the campaign and to start
discussing the evaluation time. This will be a very important meeting as it will be the first one speaking
about evaluation.
AWARENESS RAISING AND INFORMATION DAY FOR THE
CAMPAIGN
As a result of the training course on Bookmarks that took place in Namur from the 15 to 19 October, an
event will be organised in Toulouse on 27 November called “Cyber hate – how intolerant messages are
spread on the internet”. The event will be only in French. The first part of the day will be a conference on
the presentation of the No Hate Speech Movement campaign and the second part will consist as several
workshops on the theme of hate speech. The event will gather 140 professionals coming from the field

NATIONAL CAMPAIGNS
SERBIA
The Serbian Youth Association created an inspiring video of their trip in
the “No Hate Bus” which you can view here. 35 Young volunteers from 6
countries went on a regional tour (to Belgrade, Budapest, Bratislava,
Vienna, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Gradiška, and Podgorica) to raise awareness
of the issues of Hate speech online and to promote safe usage of the
internet.

De la définition du mot du moment, nous avons appris qu’en 1879, le terme antisémitisme provient du
journaliste allemand Wilhelm Marr , désignant la haine à l’égard des Juifs, mais aussi à l’encontre d’un
certain nombre de tendances politiques libérales, cosmopolites et internationales des 18ème et 19ème
siècles souvent associées aux Juifs. Les aspects particulièrement attaqués sont notamment
l’égalité des droits civiques, la démocratie constitutionnelle, le libre-échange, le capitalisme
financier et le pacifisme.
Le Mouvement contre le discours de haine est basé sur des principes fondamentaux qui sont plus que
de simples tendances – mais qui incluent les droits de l’homme, la démocratie et l’état de droit- et qui
reflètent les « tendances » du 19ème siècle. Il est donc tout à fait possible de penser que tous nos
adhérents sont des Sémites, et que ceux qui les attaquent nous attaquent tous ainsi que les valeurs
fondamentales pour lesquelles nous nous élevons - ANTISEMITISME-PAS SUR MON

JOURNEE D’ACTION EUROPEENNE CONTRE LE FASCISME ET
L’ANTISEMITISME – 9 NOVEMBRE 2014
Le 9 Novembre est la Journée d’Action Européenne contre le
Fascisme et l’Antisémitisme ! Cette journée sera dédiée à la lutte
contre les idées fascistes et antisémites qui sont diffusées un peu
partout sur Internet. Six actions ont été recommandées par l’équipe
du Mouvement contre le discours de haine, que vous êtes invités à
partager autour de vous et à suivre. Vous pouvez les trouver sur la
plateforme du Mouvement : www.mouvementcontrelahaine.org. Nous
vous invitons à partager le message suivant sur les réseaux sociaux :
« Antisémitisme- pas sur mon Internet ! »
FORUM MONDIAL POUR LA DEMOCRATIE
Le Forum Mondial pour la Démocratie a eu lieu à Strasbourg du 3 au
5 Novembre !
Un de nos ateliers était intitulé « Non aux Néo-Nazis, Non au
discours de haine ! » et a eu lieu le 4 Novembre dernier à 10h30 au
Palais de l’Europe (Strasbourg).
Le panel a été composé de différents experts sur le discours de haine et le crime de haine, avec
notamment M.Nils Muiznieks, Commissaire aux droits de l’homme, notre organisation partenaire
allemande « No Nazi Net » l’Initiative « Stork Heinar », qui parodie l’idéologie Nazi.
SEMINAIRE POUR ACTIVISTES EN LIGNE
Un séminaire pour activistes en ligne qui rassemble les acteurs de la
campagne aura lieu au Centre Européen de la Jeunesse de Strasbourg
du 7 au 11 Décembre. Les objectifs de ce séminaire sont le
renforcement et le développement du travail du réseau des activistes en
ligne du Mouvement contre le discours de haine ainsi que la célébration
de la Journée Internationale pour les droits de l’homme. L’équipe des
activistes en ligne mettra également en place la semaine autour du 10
Décembre, pour la célébration et la promotion des droits de l’homme.
NCC VARSOVIE 9-11 NOVEMBRE
Environ 40 participants se rassembleront à Varsovie pour la Réunion des Coordinateurs Nationaux de
Campagne. Ils représenteront soit des Comités Nationaux de Campagne, des activistes ou seront des
représentants du Conseil de l’Europe. Tous ces acteurs de la campagne se rassembleront pour célébrer
tout d’abord la Journée d’Action Européenne du 9 Novembre contre le Fascisme et l’Antisémitisme,
mais aussi pour discuter et débattre du futur de la campagne et commencer la discussion sur
l’évaluation. Ce sera une réunion très importante car elle sera la première à évoquer la question de
l’évaluation.
JOURNEE DE SENSIBILISATION ET D’INFORMATION POUR LA
CAMPAGNE
Comme un résultat du stage de formation Connexions qui a eu lieu à Namur du 15 au 19 Octobre, une
conférence-atelier/débat sera organisée à Toulouse le 27 Novembre et sera intitulée « Cyber-Haine,
quand Internet déverse des messages intolérants… ». Cet évènement sera uniquement en Français. La
première partie de la journée consistera en une conférence sur la présentation du Mouvement contre le
discours de haine et la deuxième partie sera orientée ateliers sur le thème du discours de haine.
L’évènement rassemblera 140 professionnels provenant du secteur de l’éducation. Pour plus

CAMPAGNES NATIONALES
SERBIE
L’Association Serbe de Jeunesse a créé une vidéo intéressante sur leur
voyage dans le Bus « No Hate » que vous pouvez voir ici. 35 jeunes
volontaires provenant de six pays différents ont fait un tour régional et
sont passés par Belgrade, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienne, Ljubljana,
Zagreb, Gradiška et Podgorica pour sensibiliser sur les problématiques
du discours de haine en ligne et pour promouvoir une utilisation sûre
d’Internet.
MOT DU MOMENT: : ANTISÉMITISME
Le mot antisémitisme désigne le préjugé contre le Juifs ou la haine à leur encontre. be de Jeunesse a créé une
vidéo intéressante sur leur voyage dans le Bus « No Hate » que vous pouvez voir. L’Holocauste, une persécution
soutenue par l’Etat représentant la tuerie de Juifs Européens par les Nazis allemands et ses collaborateurs entre
1933 et 1945, est l’exemple le plus flagrant d’antisémitisme.
