Job Purpose
The Analyst will work as a member of the Commercial Team at Asendia UK.
This is a key role with responsibility to strategically develop and deliver the pricing strategy for Asendia UK. The job holder will be targeted on and
play a fundamental role in ensuring that the Asendia UK margins are maintained and improved. The job holder will conduct in-depth analysis of
pricing and quotation methods to ensure that offerings are commercially viable and meet market and customer needs.
Identify synergies and opportunities within Asendia UK and work closely with Sales, Finance and the Operations teams, to develop a commercially
viable pricing and quotation strategy for all new products.
Responsibilities
•Assist the Commercial Analysts in analysing data and producing quotations for sales
•Maintain & compile reporting statistics for management
•Perform margin and pricing analysis in order to support business initiatives
•Monitor and update commercial price lists
•Validate sales quotations for accuracy and profitability
•Identify opportunities to optimise sales and profitability through pricing strategies
•Confer with Operations, Sales and Marketing teams to develop proposals
•Prepare and maintain multi-year cost and pricing models/tools that may include labour, materials, subcontracts, travel and other relevant costs
Skills required
•Strong analytical skills, sales support or business experience willing to learn new skills (in-house training provided)
•GCSE in Maths at Grade B or above
•Experience of using MS Office
•Intermediate/Advanced Excel
•Good written English and verbal communication skills
•Good organisational skills
•Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team
•Ability to take instruction and relay information
