Asset Operations in Italy is part of the global Operation’s organization in several European countries. One team head in the Asset Operations
–supported by an assistant- brings to the Italian team essential knowledge concerning accounting, tax and support in transactions (new SPV
incorporations, asset or share deal disposals). Additionally, the relationship with PM’s is established (standardized RFP’s, roll out of reporting
packages, regular data flow from property managers are received, checked and uploaded into the global data warehouse in order to safe and
industrialized reporting in the global organization.
The main responsibilities of the role:
• Monitor deliveries of external service providers, mainly Property Managers (PM) and Corporate Managers (CM) (incl. managing the flow of
information between service providers and Accounting teams, critical review of financial reports, implement standard reporting templates, manage
reporting services such as budgeting processes, cash requirements and forecasting)
• Check quality of data provided by PM & CM vis-à-vis timeliness, completeness and accuracy (ensuring, that services are provided in an efficient
and effective manner and to take corrective action if needed)
• Support in the selection, appointment and on-boarding of all local service providers
• Assess the external provider’s performance, effectiveness of their management processes and cost efficiency of the service. Ensurs compliance
with defined governance and processes.
• Support of other local teams with local corporate issues
• Make data available in the global IT system
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
• Reinforce sound and effective risk management in line with the Risk and Compliance Objectives & Measures Framework
Profile:
- (Master-) Degree in Business Administration (Controlling or Finance) or comparable education
- Experience in Real Estate, Controlling or Banking is a plus
- Training or additional qualification in the real-estate and property business
- Confident use of the programs Excel and other Office applications, SAP would be a plus
- Confident use of IT (especially advanced Excel),
- Excellent communication skills (team spirit / flexibility), reliability
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Good analytical skills
- Team player and reliable
- Accurate working style and keen perception also under pressure
- Autonomous and pro-active worker with good communication skills
