Guest Night at the residence of the Consul General of France
Thursday 29th June 2006 at 6.30pm

Les Chevaliers des Vins de France are delighted to be invited by M. Serot Almeras to the
Residence for our next event.
The evening will commence with a glass of Muscadet from the French wine portfolio of The
Seacove Group and a welcome to the new Consul General.
Also present will be representatives from one of the top wine agencies in Vancouver,
International Cellars, and they will be pouring a selection of wines from different regions of
France.
The wines will be accompanied by the usual fine buffet that we have become accustomed to at
the Residence.
International Cellars will be pouring the following wines:

Some of the wines being poured at this event have very limited availability, so this may be your
only opportunity to enjoy these wines. Five of the wines being poured by International Cellars
are not only limited supply but are spec wines which can only be obtained by special order and
usually only by the case load. You will receive an order form along with the tasting notes on
arrival at the Residence.
This event is also a membership drive and an ideal venue for new people to discover French
wines and belong to a wine club that offers many opportunities to taste wines from all regions.
To this end, Les Chevaliers are inviting members to bring along a guest, who they consider
would be a potential recruit, free of charge for this event. If the guest signs up for Les Chevaliers
at the Residence, the membership fee of $50 will cover them for the rest of 2006 as well as for
the full year of 2007. As a special incentive, there will also be a draw towards the end of the
evening, for a bottle of Champagne Jacquesson Cuvee 729 for those members who bring a guest
who joins Les Chevaliers at the Residence. In addition, there will also be a draw for those guests
who join on the evening, for a fine bottle of Domaine Bourillon Dorleans Vouvray from
Chevaliers cellar.
Les Chevaliers des Vins de France needs your support so that we can continue to bring you
events such as this evening at the Residence.
Cost:
$50 MEMBERS;
FREE FOR THE FIRST GUEST
Attendance is limited to 90 people. You will be notified by telephone or e-mail only if you
are unlucky enough not to be among the first 90. For reasons of security concerning the
Consul-General’s Residence, please confirm your attendance no later than Thursday June
22nd 2006.
