The 2015 Close-up Group is putting together a fundraiser by making a Diller Odell Griffin Cookbook, and we need all of your
help. Close-Up is a program in which Juniors and Seniors travel to Washington DC with their advisor Corinna Vrbka for a week
of learning about our National Monuments and the United States Government.
We are planning on putting together a cookbook and would like everyone who has been a patron, alumni, teacher, family
or friend of our communities to send in a recipe or two ( or more if you like) to help get this fundraiser off the ground. Please
add your name if you were a graduate of Diller Odell, Diller or Odell and the year, if you taught school or would like to add
one in memory of a Diller-Odell patron or anyone else interested in supporting our cause.
Categories will be basic ones: Meat, Soup, Salads, Cookies, Cakes, Vegetable, etc… but we have also had some interest in
adding a grilling section, crock-pot section, chocolate section and Husker Game Day section if we get enough recipes.
Please have your recipes turned in by May 10th.
Forms are by the office. You can drop them off at either school, Miss Vrbka (at the high school), Josie Vitosh (Class of 2015),
or Bailey Schroeder (Class of 2016) or mail to the high school in c/o Corinna Vrbka 506 Perry Street Odell NE 68415. Also you
can email them to [email protected].
Thank you on behalf of the 2015 Close-Up Trip and we are hoping for a great turn out to help pay for the costs of each
students’ trip.
All dates/times are subject to change.
