There are many things that can occupy our minds. We have many concerns as well as hopes. We are told to offer them all to God. In strengthening our relationship with the Lord, we will be able to know Him better. This is why we are called to seek the Kingdom of God. It is in this way that we will know God’s love. The readings…Les lectures... Any questions please call Mom & Dad Sylvestre at 519-728-0591. Season of Lent: The invitation of this grace-filled period of 40 days calls us to HOLINESS. As we begin Lent this week, please consider what you may accomplish to deepen your relationship with Jesus. Perhaps daily mass, praying the rosary, taking time for spiritual reading or daily reflection and praying for someone in the parish may be beneficial to your spiritual life. The more traditional forms of spiritual renewal are through penance, sacrifice and works of charity. Lent can allow us to unite our daily sacrifices with those that Jesus embraced in His passion. The gift of our charity can also be both a blessing for others and for ourselves. Reflect and DECIDE to improve your friendship with Jesus. Ash Wednesday...is a day of fast and abstinence. Catholics are required to abstain from eating meat and no food between meals. A bilingual mass will be celebrated at 7:00 pm. Distribution of ashes will occur during the Liturgy of the Word. Each of the schools in our parish will celebrate Ash Wednesday, but they will NOT have mass. Lenten Walk with the Lord: A “Lenten Walk with the Lord” invites you to do one simple act of kindness for each of the 40 days of Lent. A calendar has been inserted in this bulletin to help you keep track of your kindnesses along with some simple instructions to help guide you. For example, kindness can be as simple as a smile and often begins at home. Réunions… Mon. Mar. 3 @ 7:00 pm CWL Exec. Mtg-library Tue. Mar. 4 @ 7:30 pm Reconciliation Class-library Wed.
