Directions for Days of Week Cards
Traditional Lesson
1. Print word cards, heading cards, and control cards.
laminate for durability.
Place French word cards in a pile to the right of the workspace.
Place English word cards in a pile to the right of the workspace.
Place the heading cards in the top center of the workspace (as shown below).
Place the control cards face down on the side of the workspace.
2. Pick up either the english word cards one at a time and place them in
chronological order in a column under the correct language heading.
Repeat the same with the French cards.
3. Check work with control card.
Alternate learning idea:
Use the cards to play a "concentration" style game where the word
cards are placed face down on the workspace.
The child turns two over at a time to find a match.
