The Council of the Rural Muncipality of Swift Current No. 137, in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: 1 In this Bylaw the expression: (a) “public highway” shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, but shall not included a provincial highway as designated pursuant to such Act; (b) “motor vehicle” shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Traffic Safety Act. 2 No person shall operate a motor vehicle at a greater speed than 60 km/hr on a public highway at the following locatons within the Rural Municipality of Swift Current No. 137: (a) Tait Drive; Oxbow Drive; Valley View Drive; Valley View Road. 3 Signs indicating the maximum speed allowed shall be erected on all the aformentioned roads within the R.M. of Swift Current No. 137 and shall be placed at the point of entry or commencement of the speed zone areas. 4 Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of this bylaw is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to the penalties provided in the general penalty bylaw of this municipality.
