Words from our President:
Welcome to the third edition of the TVL U16 Regional Championships! We have worked tremendously to prepare a tournament
which will balance good competition level, cultural experience
and friendship.
A big thank to our sponsors and partners. We hope you will enjoy this
challenge in paradise and that we will have great matches during these five
days of competition .
For all of you who travel from close neighbourhood or from far, thank you
for your participation! You are making our event a great event! We have
started three years ago with 83 players and we will have 120 competitors this
year! Lets continue together to develop our sport in Oceania!

amitié.

Created in 1978, Telecom Vanuatu Limited (TVL) is the only one stop shop in the country for

its care through sports, education, and social events.
In 2012, TVL engaged itself with the Vanuatu Tennis Federation, by being the major sponsor of
the first edition of the Regional Tennis Championship, held at the Tennis Club of Port-Vila.
This year 2014 is the third edition. TVL continues to promote the VTF as it believes that the
young Ni-Vanuatu tennis players can build their sports capacities not only in a national level,
but also by challenging athletes from other countries. TVL has confidence in the Regional Tennis
Championship that will brightly develop the career of our young tennis generation.
The Vanuatu National Olympic Committee was established in March 1987 when IOC President
Juan Antonio Samaranch personally visited the country to officially inaugurate the NOC.
VASANOC is comprised of 26 National Federations and aims to be a key partner in the creation of a viable and sustainable integrated sports development system for Vanuatu.
VASANOC has been assisting the Vanuatu Tennis Federation since 1991 when VTF was created
and has been a major sponsor of the TVL since its creation.
