Objectives
Daimler AG, RLCME is the Mercedes-Benz Regional Logistics Center with responsibility for parts distribution
throughout the Middle East & Levant. You will be working in an international environment with close
contacts with the Daimler AG headquarters. Main objective of this Logistics center is to supply parts and
accessories to its General Distributors within the agreed service level.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Assisting with various project works (Transportation Tender Process, Improvement in Transportation,
Handbook for Country specific Requirement, Tool for Monitoring & Reporting Performance and Errors)
Assist in Creating the Handbook on Country Specific Regulations
Gather Information from CPM on current regulation and the process
Liaise with the Service Provider if any change on rules and regulation
Document the complete process
Prepare monthly transport invoicing reports for all Service provider and submit to Controlling & Admin Team
Coordinate ad-hoc shipments (Reman and returns to Germany) with GLC, GDs, Internal colleagues
Handle transport claims, follow-up with Service Providers and maintain reports
Actively participate in KPI discussion with Service Providers, prepare MOM and make follow up on the open
topics
Support and coordinate daily shipments and escalations
Coordinate with Controlling & Admin Team for all transport related reports
Assist the Service Provider Management(SPM) & other RLCME department in specific
administration/documentation processes
Other duties as assigned

Microsoft Office knowledge especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Lotus Notes

Knowledge of Logistics & Supply chain will be advantage
Excellent English language skills (German/Arabic will be an added advantage)
Ideally previous experience in an international environment (Cross-Cultural sensitivity)
Qualification
Degree in a business administration or equivalent
