lines, freight forwarding and logistics.
We are currently recruiting for our subsidiary in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a:
FINANCE MANAGER M/F
- Produce annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting principles and Group procedures
- Manage relationship with internal & external auditors
- Prepare all necessary material for the audit diligence
- Prepare the annual budget package in accordance with Group procedures
- Implement all necessary procedures and take all necessary steps to guarantee an optimal level of debtor’s collection
- Prepare profitability analysis for new investments
- Issues “Investment request forms” and monitor the investment budget
- Elaborate the investment reporting
- Monitor and control the netting process (Netting = Group inter company receivable/payable settlement system)
- Monitor daily cash position and make adequate decision to maximize financial result while providing sufficient funds for operations
- Prepare monthly “Flash result” (P/L) and balance sheet reporting, together with relevant comments
- More generally, prepare all reporting requested by Group procedures
- Follow-up claims and monitor insurance coverage and cost
- Ensure all legal obligations are fulfilled
- Follow-up legal cases and provide recommendation for risk provisions
- Monitor tax calculations, and possibly relationship with tax-advisor
- In case of tax control, manage relationship with tax administration
- Monitor the process of the payroll, follow-up all administrative tasks related to Human Resources Management
- Provide recommendations to the Managing director about any organizational issue
Profile
- A degree in accounting / finance: Master’s degree in Business Administration
- Any additional academic record in the field of management, finance, accounting, tax & legal matters, computers and information systems is highly
appreciated
- Proficiency in Spanish and English is a requirement. Being fluent in French can be a plus.
A professional level of computer literacy (no technical level but rather a high-end user level) is required to be able to process data, communicate by
writing, expose projects, and make presentations.
- A good knowledge of the accounting principles is required.
Proven track record working in a Finance Management (an experience of 2 to 3 years at this position with successful achievement) operating in an
international environment is an advantage.
