If you get the chance to sit down and relax in the hectic run up to the holidays,
why not personalise your Knit-along project?
Here are some suggestions to get you started.
Sew on a pompon or a tassle at each corner.
Embroider blanket stitch (good for hiding uneven sewing up!) around the
edges, or work one of my favourites, cross stitch.

Perhaps the smaller blanket is for a special person of a particular age,
so add a birth date or initial.

Si vous avez la chance de pouvoir vous poser et de vous détendre pendant la course
effrénée d’avant les fêtes, pourquoi ne pas décorer votre couverture du Knit-long?
Voici quelques suggestions:
Vous pouvez coudre un pompon ou un gland à chaque coin.
Vous pouvez la border au point de gribiche (ce qui cache aussi les
coutures qui ne seraient pas très régulières!), ou broder des lignes de croix,
un de mes points préférés.

Si vous avez fait la petite couverture pour l’offrir à quelqu’un de bien particulier,
vous pouvez la personnaliser en brodant une date ou des initiales.
