Terroir
our Vinsobres vines are at the top of our property
on a gentle South facing hillside. The soils are the
typical “argilo-calcaire” mix of the region, but in our
Cru Vinsobres parcels are more sandy and stony
(galets) giving excellent drainage.
Viticulture
No herbicides, only products allowed in organic
viticulture
Harvest dates
12 to 23 September
Vinification
long, cool, natural fermentation. The malolactic
fermentation started naturally in Spring 2010 and
finished in January 2011.
Tasting notes
Intense deep purple colour, ripe red berry flavours,
great balance between fruit, acidity and tannins.
