CAISSE POPULAIRE DE TIGNISH - RÉUNION ANNUELLE GÉNÉRALE
La Caisse populaire de Tignish tiendra sa réunion annuelle le mardi 20 novembre à 19h00 au Centre
Paroissiale de Tignish. La soirée débutera avec la réunion d’affaires suivie par des rafraîchissements.
Plusieurs prix seront pigés durant la soirée incluant deux gros prix de 500$ chaque. Tous les propriétaires
sont bienvenus et pressé de participer pour célébrer les succès de votre entreprise. C’est votre
opportunité d’entendre les rapports de l’année des membres du comité que vous avez élu.
TIGNISH CREDIT UNION - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Tignish Credit Union Ltd. will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00
p.m. at the Tignish Parish Centre. The evening will begin with the business meeting followed by
refreshments. Prizes will be drawn for throughout the evening including two grand prizes of $500 each.
All owners are welcome and urged to attend to celebrate the success of their business. It is your
opportunity to hear the reports on the year’s activities from the Board Members whom you elected.
PALMER ROAD CWL BAZAAR
The Palmer Road CWL Bazaar will be held at the Palmer Road Community Centre on Sunday, November
18th starting with a brunch after the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. There will
be a bake, craft, and white elephant sale, bingo at 2:00 p.m., 50/50 tickets, and the draw for the baskets!
ROYAL STAR FOODS - TIGNISH FISHERIES
Les heures d’ouvertures du magasin de Royal Star Foods et du marché au poisson sont le lundi au

Tignish and Area Tourism Ambassador Program is now offering one-on-one Social Media training to
tourism operators and other area businesses. Twitter and Facebook page creation, as well as Instagram
and Pinterest training will be offered for those interested - and not just ‘how’ to use them, but why and
when. A challenge to business owners: You tell me why you don’t think you need to use Twitter, and I
will tell you why you do! Also being offered is assistance in creating WordPress based websites to assist

There will be a Bluegrass & Oldtime Show at the St. Louis Community Center located at 3563 Union Road,
on Saturday, November 24th at 7:00 p.m. The Show will be featuring five bands: Blue Persuasion, SK
Bluegrass, The Arsenault Brothers, Heartfelt Bluegrass, and Blue Zone (not yet confirmed). Bring your
instruments to jam after the show! Admission is $5.
TIGNISH T.O.P.S. RELAY FOR LIFE
The Tignish T.O.P.S. Relay for Life team will be holding a Christmas dabber bingo on Sunday, November
25th at the Tignish Legion from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Beautiful Christmas prizes to be won, 50/50, and

Le public est invité à « Noël de chez nous » au Musée acadien, à Miscouche, le dimanche 25 novembre
à 19h00. Il y aura la chorale de Mont-Carmel qui présentera de beaux cantiques de Noël, le violoneux
Peter Arsenault et de jeunes gigueuses. L’auditoire sera invité à entonner des chants de Noël. Un réveillon
de pâtés à la viande et de douceurs sera servi. Entrée gratuite; dons appréciés. Organisée par le Musée
acadien et La Belle-Alliance.
CHRISTMAS AT THE ACADIAN MUSEUM
The public is invited to “Christmas at the Acadian Museum” in Miscouche, on Sunday, November 25th at
7:00 p.m. There will be the Mont-Carmel Choir who will sing wonderful Christmas carols, the fiddler Peter
Arsenault, and young step-dancers. The audience will be invited to join in a Christmas carolling. Festive
foods, such as pâtés (Acadian meat pies) and holiday sweets, will be served. Free admission; donations
appreciated. Organized by the Acadian Museum and La Belle-Alliance.

PARISH OF SAINT SIMON AND SAINT JUDE, TIGNISH
The Church Decorating Committee is looking for a couple of artificial Christmas trees to use for decorating
the church at Christmas time. If you have a tree you no longer want and would like to give to the Church,

The Annual Western Hospital Lights of Hope Campaign is underway. Memorial donation will be received
