Dear friends,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the FITA World 3D Archery Championships in Ágfalva
located 4 km from the city of Sopron.
The place of the competition is Vadon horse club which has all the facilities needed to such an
event.
We have arranged for various levels and prices of accommodations in the city of Sopron.
I can assure you that we will do absolutely everything to make this event one to remember for all of
you.
I hope that all member associations will heighten the level and spirits of the competition by sending
their competitors to our tournament.
Enclosed you will find entry and booking forms and all information you need to enter the
competition.

FITA ANTI-DOPING AGREEMENT
(FITA Constitution and Rules, Book 1, Appendix 5, Art.20)

I, as a member of a Member Association of FITA or participating in a FITA authorized or recognized event,
hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. I have received information on the FITA Anti-Doping Rules (*) and had an opportunity to review
them.
2. I consent and agree to comply with and be bound by all of the provisions of the FITA Anti-Doping
Rules (*), including but not limited to, all amendments to the Anti-Doping Rules (*) and all
International Standards* incorporated in the Anti-Doping Rules.
3. I acknowledge and agree that FITA and its Member Associations have jurisdiction to impose
sanctions as provided in the FITA Anti-Doping Rules (*).
4. I also acknowledge and agree that any dispute arising out of a decision made pursuant to the FITA
Anti-Doping Rules (*), after exhaustion of the process expressly provided for in the FITA AntiDoping Rules (*), may be appealed exclusively as provided in Article 13 of the FITA Anti-Doping
Rules (*) to an appellate body for final and binding arbitration, which in the case of InternationalLevel Athletes is the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
5. I acknowledge and agree that the decisions of the arbitral appellate body referenced above shall be
final and enforceable, and that I will not bring any claim, arbitration, lawsuit or litigation in any
other court or tribunal.

FITA PARTICIPATION WAIVER AND COMPETITORS AGREEMENT
EVENT: FITA 3-D WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS “Hungary, 05– 10 June 2007”
This form needs to be signed by all the athletes before they can be accredited at the event. The
event detailed in the document heading will be referred to as “The Event”.
As in any sporting event, athletes always run the risk of injury or worse. Archery is no different.
Therefore, the following waiver is currently required for participation.
In consideration of my involvement in The Event, I acknowledge and agree that:
1. I understand that participation in archery competition may involve risk of bodily injury,
including but not limited to paralysis, dismemberment or even death, as well as loss of or
damage to property.
2. I fully understand such dangers and knowingly and freely assume all such risk, and
3. I for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns and next of kin, hereby release, hold harmless
and promise not to sue FITA, their Officers, Officials, Organisers, Agents, Sponsors and/or
Employees and/or other representatives ("The FITA Agents"), with respect to any and all such
injury, paralysis, dismemberment, death and/or loss or damage arising from my participation in
the except that which is resultant of gross negligence and/or wilful or wanton misconduct by
FITA and/or FITA agents.
4. I promise to abide by all FITA rules, regulations, decisions and rulings, including without
limitation all those relating to doping or use of drugs. I agree to submit all disputes or claims
of any nature relating to the Event (including without limitation its conduct, sponsorship and
my participation therein), FITA’s rules, regulations, rulings and decisions on all subjects to
binding arbitration before the Court of Arbitration for Sport under its statutes and regulations.
5. The sponsors of The Event and FITA may use my photograph, image, name or nick name for
the promotion of the Event, FITA or archery events. FITA Sponsors or Partners may use my
name and likeness to describe any prizes given by Sponsors or Partners without implying any
endorsement of their product or service. This use may not include any endorsement by me. I
am free to negotiate these endorsements on my own.
6. I will accept any prizes or awards given to me by FITA or the sponsors of The Event for my
participation, and I will attend all special award ceremonies at which prizes or awards are
presented.
7. If I am invited to attend a press conference by the FITA Press Officer or his representative I
will without any delay attend this conference. I acknowledge that by not doing so sanctions
may be imposed.

Ce formulaire doit être signé par tous les athlètes avant qu’ils puissent être accrédités. La
Manifestation mentionnée en tête de ce document sera désignée dans ce qui suit par « La
Manifestation ».
Comme dans toute compétition sportive, les athlètes courent toujours le risque de blessure ou pire.
Le tir à l’arc n’est pas différent. En conséquence, la décharge suivante vous est demandée à vous,
compétiteur, pour votre participation à la Manifestation.
Considérant que la FITA et/ou l’organisateur m’autorise à participer à la Manifestation, je reconnais
et accepte que:
1. Participer ou assister à des compétitions de tir à l’arc constitue pour moi un risque de dommage
corporel, y compris invalidité, perte d’un membre, voire décès, ainsi que de perte ou dommage à
mes biens.
2. Je suis pleinement conscient des dangers énumérés ci-dessus, et j’accepte en connaissance de
cause et librement de courir ce risque.
3. Pour moi et au nom de mes héritiers, ayant-droits et parents proches, je renonce par la présente
aux dommages et intérêts et aux poursuites légales ou autres actions et dégage la responsabilité
de la FITA, ses dirigeants, officiels, membres, sponsors, employés et/ou autres représentants
(“les agents de la FITA”) en ce qui concerne toute blessure, invalidité, perte de membre ou
accident mortel et/ou pertes ou dommages en rapport avec et/ou dus à ma participation à la
Manifestation, à moins qu’ils ne soient dus à une négligence grossière et/ou à une action
délibérée de la part de la FITA ou des agents de la FITA.
4. Je promets de me soumettre à toutes les règles, réglementations, décisions de la FITA, incluant
sans limitation toutes celles en relations avec le dopage ou l’usage de drogues. J’accepte de
soumettre tous litiges ou réclamations de toute nature en relation avec la Manifestation (incluant
sans limitation son déroulement, son parrainage, et ma participation à ceux-ci), les règles,
réglementations et décisions de la FITA sur tous les sujets d’arbitrage devant le Tribunal Arbitral
du Sport selon ses statuts et réglementations.
5. Les Sponsors de la Manifestation ont l’autorisation d’utiliser mes photographies, images, noms
ou surnom pour la promotion de la Manifestation, de la FITA ou de manifestations de tir à l’arc.
Les Sponsors ou Partenaires de la FITA ont l’autorisation d’utiliser mon nom et mon image pour
décrire tout prix remis par les Sponsors ou les Partenaires sans que cela implique quelconque
caution de leur produit ou service. Cet usage ne peut inclure aucun engagement de ma part. Je
suis libre de négocier ces engagements de mon propre chef.
6. J’accepterai tout prix ou récompense qui me seraient remis par la FITA ou par les sponsors de la
Manifestation pour ma participation, et je prendrai part à toutes les cérémonies spéciales lors
desquelles des prix et des récompenses seront remis.
7. Si je suis invité par le Chef de Presse de la FITA ou son représentant à participer à une
conférence de presse, je prendrai part à cette conférence sans retard. Je suis averti que si je ne
suis pas ces directives, des sanctions pourront m’être imposées.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Location: The World 3-D Championships 2007 will take place The “Vadon Horse Club”
Ágfalva, Magyar street 25. Hungary.
Registration Fees include: transport between the airport/railway station and hotels, local
transportation between hotel and competition site. The Price is 170€ for archers, 60€ for
officials 50€ for team entry fee.
Place of arrival: Vienna is easily reached by plane form the International Airport “Schwechat”
which has daily connections to major European airports. Vienna airport is located about 60 km
outside Sopron City. If You travel by train the nearest railway station is in the centre of Sopron.
The competitions consist of Instinctive Recurve, Compound, Bare-Bow and Longbow divisions.
In each division the competition events will be:
1. Individual Qualification rounds
2. All individual and team elimination round
3. Semi- and final individual and team matches
If possible we want you to send “passport” type photo all participants, archers and officials
together whit their names to us by e-mail in good time.
There will be a practice field next to the competition field. Both field have same direction. The
practice filed will be opened for archers two days before competition event.
All teams are requested to bring along whit them a CD with their national anthem and
3 flags (100x200 cm)
Doping controls will be executed according to the FITA rules.
Lunch packets: 2 sandwiches, fruit, drink.
There will be restaurant near the competition field (for a fee paid on site) near the competition
field and shuttle service will be available them.

We provide enclosed, some information about visas. However, this information is not bidding,
so please contact the Hungarian Embassy in your country to check if you need visa.

Please note other following important information
 You’ll find attached a waiver form and anti doping agreement that ALL ATHLETES (or
their parents/ guardians for minor athletes) must sign and send to HAA office in Budapest,
or bring whit them in order to get their accreditation. Accreditation won’t be possible we
receive this form signed.
 Upon receipt of your entries, a confirmation for the number and category of people
registered will be send to you. The HAA will confirm you entries for accommodation travel
and/or all related payment issues.
 For TV media purposes, it would be of great assistance to us if we could receive a biography
of each archer (see attached from guideline) We can receive this information by fax (+36 1
460 6862) or e-mail ([email protected] or [email protected]) or at the latest in Ágfalva upon
delivery of the archer’s accreditation.
