Dear President,
It is the COYCH's pleasure to submit its application as organizing Yacht club for the World
Melges 24 Class Championships 2014 or 2015.
This World Championship could be held in September like the world 2006
We intend to develop even more the facilities for the competitors, their teams and their
families beforehand and also to organize training sessions.
Our Manager, Mr Regis BERENGUIER and myself remain open to all suggestions and
remarks on your part that might help us to improve the quality of this event.
Our club have organized in the past several continental and World championships for your
class but also for Olympic classes (Laser and Star, Farr 30, Longtze,…).
We shall of course benefit from the support of the whole local government and particularly
the city of Hyères, Var Departement, Région PACA but also of private partners so that this
event may be held in the best conditions.
We shall benefit also from the support of the French Federation and French class
association.
I thank you in advance for the care you will grant this candidature and we wait answer of the
world council.
