LEARNING OBJECTIVES / OBJECTIFS D’APPRENTISSAGE
By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
Identify areas where technology can facilitate aspects of judging
Customize their computing environments and perform essential e-mail and
word-processing tasks
Create and manage a personal electronic filing system
Access and use essential websites and judicial electronic tools such as the NJI Judicial Library
Use a computer when away from chambers (e.g. when on circuit or at a hotel)
À la fin de ce programme, les participants seront en mesure de/d’ :
Identifier certains aspects de leur travail où la technologie peut faciliter l’exécution de leurs
tâches judiciaires
Personnaliser leur environnement informatique et d’exécuter des tâches essentielles telles
qu’envoyer des courriels et utiliser le traitement de texte
Créer et de gérer un système personnel de classement électronique; d’accéder à des sites
Internet et d’utiliser des outils électroniques tels que la Bibliothèque judiciaire de l’INM
Utiliser un ordinateur à l’extérieur du cabinet (p. ex. sur la route ou à l’hôtel)
SKILL LEVEL / NIVEAU DE COMPÉTENCE
This computer training seminar is geared toward judges with little or no computing skills or experience, or
judges who would like their computer skills refreshed.
Ce programme de formation a été conçu pour les juges qui ont peu ou pas de connaissances ou
d’expériences en informatique, ou qui désirent rafraîchir leurs connaissances.
PROGRAM DESIGN / CONCEPTION DE PROGRAMME
This three-day intensive computer training program provides hands-on training and individualized
coaching on a wide range of subjects. Each participant will receive a personalized course schedule at registration. Courses will be taught by computer experts in small groups. Demonstrations will be offered during
breaks on optional topics of interest to the judiciary.
Ce programme de formation informatique intensif de trois jours offre une formation pratique et un
encadrement individuel à l’égard d’une vaste gamme de sujets. Chaque participant recevra un horaire
de cours personnalisé au moment de son inscription. Les cours seront donnés en petits groupes par des
experts en informatique. Des démonstrations facultatives seront offertes lors des pauses sur des sujets
d’intérêt à la magistrature.
