LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
Perform computer-based judicial tasks more effectively;
Research case law and legislative intent;
Identify and guard against certain computer risks, including security risks.
SKILL LEVEL
This computer training seminar is geared toward judges who:
Currently use their computer and are able to complete general tasks;
Have a keen interest in upgrading their skills; and
Want to improve their efficiency using a computer.
PROGRAM DESIGN
This three-day intensive computer training program provides hands-on training and individualized
coaching on a wide range of subjects. Participants must complete a skills assessment as part of the
registration process.
Each participant will receive a personalized course schedule at registration. Courses will be taught
by computer experts in small groups. Demonstrations will be offered during breaks as optional
topics of interest to the judiciary.

OBJECTIFS D’APPRENTISSAGE
À la fin de ce programme, les participants seront en mesure de/d’ :
Exécuter des tâches informatiques de façon efficace;
Consulter la jurisprudence et rechercher l’intention du législateur;
Cerner et apprendre à se protéger contre certains dangers informatiques, y compris les risques
liés à la sécurité.
NIVEAU DE COMPÉTENCE
Ce programme de formation a été conçu pour les juges qui :
Utilisent leur ordinateur et qui savent exécuter certaines tâches générales;
Veulent améliorer leurs compétences;
Veulent utiliser leur ordinateur de façon plus efficace.
CONCEPTION DE PROGRAMME
Ce programme de formation informatique intensif de trois jours offre une formation pratique et un encadrement individuel à l’égard d’une vaste gamme de sujets. Les participants devront passer une évaluation
des compétences lors du processus d’inscription.
Chaque participant recevra un horaire de cours personnalisé au moment de son inscription. Les cours
seront donnés en petits groupes par des experts en informatique. Des démonstrations facultatives seront
offertes lors des pauses sur des sujets d’intérêt à la magistrature.
